Chapter 16

Santana's pov

As we walked out to find Nick outside the door I picked him up and took him downstairs I made him a drink and he was sat at the table colouring I walk towards Dani in the living room I sit next to her and say "I understand you don't want me anymore and I can't be alone right now Dani I need you to help me and that's why I have come across an idea" "Whats the idea baby? I do want to be with you but not right now" "I understand that and the idea is for me to go to rehab for it?" "Santana are you sure you want to be doing that being on your own for a long time?" She said grabbing my hand. "If it makes me better and makes us stronger as a couple its what I have to do, I'm leaving tomorrow I'm sorry I have to do this for us" I say Dani starts crying I wipe the tears away and just hold her for hours on end we watch movies and Rosie and Nick join us on the sofa I have Nick and Dani has Rosie. They both fall asleep we carry them upstairs and place them in the spare double bed and Nick holds Rosie as he used to when they were alot younger I walk into mine and Dani's room and lay on my side Dani comes in and hugs me as she lays down "Santana I love you and I'm going to support you no matter what! And don't worry I have contacted Rupert and told him eveything he understands why you wont be at work for a while" "thank you baby I love you" I turn and kiss her I fall asleep on her chest hearing her breath I was so inlove with her.

Dani's pov

Today was the last night I get to hold Santana in bed I was going to miss her she was going to be in rehab for 3 months I cant go a day without thinking of her we have our ups and downs but I will always be hers and she will always be mine but she needs help the way i did and I hope she sticks to it. We both fall asleep she was on my chest I stroked her hair and fell asleep. In the morning I had woken up before Santana so I decided to make her breakfast before she goes to rehab I sneak downstairs and start making it I hear someone walking down but it was just my mom "hey mom why are you up so early?" I say as I start making her some coffee "I heard you down here what are you doing?" "I'm making breakfast for Santana I don't know if she has told you but she is going rehab today" "yeah i know she is I helped her figure out what to do" she said as she drank her coffee I walked up to her and kissed her and said "thank you I love you mom" "mmmm i love you too". I took the breakfast upstairs into the bedroom and saw her sleeping like an angel "hey Santana I brought you something" she opens her eyes and smiles "aw you didn't have to" "yes I did" she sat up and took it "hey I also started packing for you so you didn't have to rush" I say as I sat down on the bed, "you are so amazing do you know that?" "Yes I do because you say it every day ahaha". A few hours had passed we sat Rosie and Nick down so we could tell them what was happening "hey guys you know how mommy and I have been very sad? Well mommy is going away for a little while to get some help with that but we will be visiting her all the time" I say to them they look very confused "where are you going though mommy how long for?" Rosie says with tears "I am going for 3months baby but it will fly by I promise you" they all start crying. Eddie walks in and says "hey guys are you ready?" I look at her with tears running down my face "yeah we're ready, okay guys say goodbye to mommy" they give her huge hugs but they dont let go "guys come on mommy needs to go I love you both so much never forget that!!" Santana says goodbye to them and Maddie everyone are crying there eyes out but we have to leave. Me my mom Eddie and Santana have left Dallas with the kids I hold Santana's hand all the way there I didn't want to let go. We got to the airport and we got on the plane I fell asleep with her on my shoulder I look at Eddie and my mom and they were crying on the plane ride there. After a few hours we arrived and made our way to timberline knolls as we got there I was so upset I couldn't speak I tried to say goodbye but I couldn't get it out "I know Dani I know I will see you soon I love you goodbye" she kissed me she said goodbye to my mom and Eddie and she walked in I fell to the floor crying my heart out Eddie picked me up and placed me in the car. I sat at the window watching her walk in as I drove away I put my hand on the window and placed my head against it it felt like I had died.
