Ron's POV
"Beds empty! No note! Car gone — could have crashed — out of my mind with worry — did you care? — never, as long as I've lived — you wait until your father gets home, we never had trouble like this from Bill or Charlie or Percy —" My mum started.
"Perfect Percy," muttered Fred.
"YOU COULD DO WITH TAKING A LEAF OUT OF PERCY'S BOOK!" yelled my mum, prodding a finger in Fred's chest. "You could have died, you could have been seen, you could have lost your father his job —"
It seemed to go on for hours. My mum had shouted herself hoarse before she turned on Harry, who backed away.
"I'm very pleased to see you, Harry, dear," she said.
She walked off and just left us there in shock. I just stood there scared.
"Might as well eat breakfast." My mum sighed as she placed some sausage links on a plate.
We walked over to the table and sat ourselves down. My mum was favoring Harry at the moment.
Then my idiot sister came down the steps, "Mum- Mummy, have you seen my jumper?"
"Yes dear, it was on the cat." My mum answered.
My little sister glanced at Harry and her eyes widened.
"Hello." Harry stated and Ginny ran away.
"W-what did I do?"
I looked at Harry not surprised at all, "Ginny. She's been talking about you all summer. A bit annoying really."
"Morning, Weasleys."
"Morning, Dad." I shouted.
"What a night. Nine raids. Nine!" My dad stated and Harry looked at me confused.
"Raids?"
I answered, "Dad works in the Ministry of Magic, in the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Office. Dad loves Muggles, thinks they're fascinating."
Mr. Weasley: "Well now. Aah! And who are you?"
Harry looked up at my dad, "Oh, sorry sir. I'm Harry, sir, Harry Potter."
Mr. Weasley: "Good Lord! Are you really? Well, Ron's told us all about you, of course. When did he get here?"
Mrs. Weasley: "This morning. Your sons flew that enchanted car of yours to Surrey and back last night."
Mr. Weasley: "Did you really? How'd it go? Did you—"
We interrupted our father and answered, "Oh, it..."
Then of course my mother shouted at our dad, "Arthur!"
"I mean...that was very wrong, indeed, boys. Very wrong of you. Now, Harry, you must know all about Muggles. Tell me, what exactly is the function of a rubber duck?" My dad corrected himself.
Harry: "Oh, umm..."
Mrs. Weasley: "Well, that'll be Errol with the post. Oh, fetch it will you Percy, please?"
Errol our owl swooped down to come into our window and once again hit glass.
Percy got up and walked towards the window, "Errol..."
I just had to rant, "He's always doing that."
Bri giggled and I rubbed the back of my neck.
Percy: "Oh look, it's our Hogwarts letters. And they've sent us Harry's, Bri's, and Hermione's as well."
Dad looked at us and smiled, "Dumbledore must know that you're here. Doesn't miss a trick, that man."
My Mum agreed, "Oh, no."
"This lot won't come cheap, Mum. The spell books alone are very expensive." Fred stated and George looked at his letter with shock.
My mother nodded, "We'll manage. There's only one place we're going to get all of this. Diagon Alley."
I looked at Bri and she looked back at me with nervousness.
"What's wrong?" I asked her.
"I have to change my clothes." She whispered into my ear.
"We all do. Don't worry we have many loos." I stated and she laughed.
Our eyes were locked for a while until Hermione coughed.
"Mrs. Weasley can I change real quick?" Bri asked my mum.
My mother gasped, "I forget that you children need to change into your robes. Now come on now, no time to waste."
She shooed us away and Fred, George, Percy, and I ran up into our rooms to find our robes.
~Time skip~
I ran down the steps like a lunatic while Ginny just shook her head and Hermione just starred at me.
"What?! It's not like this house has 14 sets of stairs!" I shouted and Bri chuckled.
"Hurry Ron." My mother called.
I walked down the rest of the stairs and stood next to Bri.
"Right. Here we are, Harry. You go first, dear." My mother had the Floo powder in hand.
"But Harry's never traveled by Floo powder before, Mum." I argued.
"Floo powder?" Harry questioned.
"Well... You go first, Ron, so that Harry can see how it's done. Yes. In you go."
I walked into the fireplace and grabbed a handful of Floo powder. I made sure I looked like I knew what I was doing.
"Diagon Alley." I shouted and threw down the powder.
Bri's POV
I've never seen something so grand before. Traveling through a fireplace, how odd.
Mrs. Weasley made it look so easy, "You see? It's quite easy, dear. Don't be afraid. Come on. Come on. In you go. That's it."
Harry walked into the fireplace and he looked somewhat nervous.
Mrs. Weasley gave him directions, "Mind your head. That's right. Now, take your Floo powder. That's it, very good. Now, don't forget to speak very, very clearly."
"Diagonally." Harry stated and I shook my head.
"What did he say, dear?" Mrs. Weasley asked.
Mr. Weasley answered in the most sincere way, "Diagonally."
"I thought he did." Mrs. Weasley answered. Hermione face palmed and shook her head.
All I could think was, poor Harry Potter.
