Chapter 4: Bad Boy, Loner, Player etc.

~Hinata's POV ~

I was sitting in class my mind nowhere near the lesson... I look at my blonde hero, as he looks tiredly at the teacher. He notices my stare, I just look away my heart racing, face burning up.

'How did this happen?!' Was all I shouted to myself, the event at the garden during break not leaving my mind.

*Flashback*

Hinata had opened her eyes, meeting the surprised blue widened eyes that was Naruto's.

She had just missed Naruto's lips, her intended kiss for the forehead, landing on his cheek. Hinata immediately pulled back, covering her mouth. Her heart raced to new heights 'What did I do?!' Was all she yelled in her head. She quickly stood up, Naruto was still a bit stunned... "I'm s-so sorry..." Hinata apologised quickly, her face turning red.

Naruto just chuckled, confusing Hinata "I wasn't expecting that..." Naruto stated, slowly getting up ignoring what pain remained "Y-You... Okay?" Hinata asked, keeping her distance "Yeah although I wasn't expecting that, it definitely was better than a kiss to the forehead." He grinned to Hinata, stretching.  Hinata couldn't help but smile too, calming down a little. "See better already..." He says demonstrating by hitting the spot Neji hit but ended up cringing a little. "Don't!" Hinata says running up to him, grabbing his hand moving it away "It's g-going to hurt f-for a w-week or two." Hinata says warning him "Wow, that move of yours is strong..." Naruto says, but noticing Hinata still holding his hand.

Hinata followed his gaze, her eyes widened "S-Sorry!" She says pulling her hand back. Naruto just laughed "You sure do apologize a lot." He says smiling, Hinata couldn't help but look down in embarrassment.

*End Flashback*

The siren suddenly wailed. Indicating another break, as everyone started packing up.

I just got up, putting my chair in, when startled by the Uzumaki. I nearly fell back but he quickly grabbed both my arms, stopping my little misstep. "You okay?" He asks, in his deep voice "... Y-Yes... Th-Thank you..." I say, his tight grip still on my arms "Okay," He says letting go. I relax but also felt a little disappointed that he did "I wanted to say I'll be in the garden..." He says, my face heats up at the mention of the garden "Y-You w-w-want us to go th-there?" I say, stuttering more than usual "No, I'll go by myself you can spend break with your friends." He says, beginning to walk "Y-You sure?" I ask, not wanting him to be alone "Yeah." Was all he said leaving but before leaving I notice the look he gets from Sasuke and Kiba, who was waiting with the others, as he left.

We all sat in the cafeteria at our usual spot to eat. "W-What was that look you two gave to Uzumaki-san?" I asked rather suddenly, surprising both Sasuke and Kiba. "Yeah, you two did kind of have a stare thing going on as he left..." Sakura says, remembering "Tch..." Kiba goes showing his canines "Something about him I don't like..." Kiba states "So no reason." Shikamaru says tiredly "Shut up." Kiba spits, I was surprised at Kibas annoyance towards a new student. "And you, Sasuke-kun, what's your reason?" Ino asks "I don't need one." He says plainly "Sure, it's probably because he has the balls to stand up to you." Ino concludes with a smirk, we knew she was right when annoyance made its way onto his face too. But no one knew about the incident with my cousin and Uzumaki-san.

"But g-guys you barely know him, I mean he just transferred here..." I say defending him "And where is he now?" Choji asks before chowing some more "He said h-he wanted to be alone." I say, kinda wishing he was here.

"You see... Typical loner attitude, he could've at least tried making friends." Kiba points out "M-Maybe he's just shy..." I say "You think? I didn't pick that vibe from him though... More like the hot bad boy type..." Ino says, Temari and Sakura both just nodded their heads. Kiba just clicked his tongue at the comment.
