My Best Friend's Dad || Johnny Depp Fanfiction

"Megannnn." Lily yelled from our hotel room bathroom.

"Whatttt?" I yelled back, rolling over from my seemingly comfortable position on my bed. 

"Can you bring me the ibuprofen? My cramps are fucking killing me."

"Yeah. Hold up." I groaned and got up. 

To give you some context, Lily and I have been best friends since we first met on the first day of kindergarten. Right now we were sharing a hotel room for a Vogue shoot. We just finished when we came up to our hotel room to relax.

"I'm gonna order us a pizza." I said grabbing the phone.

"Okay. Oh hey, get cheese and pepperoni please." Lily smiled at me.

I nodded, making a sly comment about someone being hungry, and continued to order. When i was done i looked over at Lily who was swearing repeatedly.

"What's wrong lil?" I said

"I just got a text from my dad. He's in town and wants to see us." 

Lily's dad. AKA Johnny Depp, maybe you've heard of him...

"Isn't he filming right now?"

"He said they're taking a week break."

Knock Knock

I open the door and pay the pizza guy.

"Ugh finally. I really need food after this shitty day." Lily says grabbing the boxes out of my hands.

"Amen girl." I say smiling at her. 

After minutes of quiet as we both delved into the deliciousness of the pizza, Lily broke the silence. 

"Hey Megan?" 

"What?" I reply, mouth full of pizza. 

"I know you are like in love with my dad. I just want you to know that i'm fine with it. You're my best friend and i know you will always think about my feelings too. I love you."

"As random as that was my dearest friend, I wouldn't say i'm in love with your father, but he is really hot. I care about you a lot, and if you're not comfortable with my feelings for him i'm fine with it. I love you too."

We smile and continue to eat. 

 It was around 11pm when we both passed out in our beds, being our flight was at 7am the next morning.

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP

"Nooo. Not yettt." Lily yelled, her head buried under pillows.

"Lily come on we're gonna miss our flight." I mustered up some energy and jumped on her bed.

"Ugh. sometimes i hate you." She groaned, throwing her pillow to the side. 

Time skip to after flight (i'm lazy)

Walking off the flight was the usual craze, taking pictures and meeting fans. Lily and I looked forward to it every time. 

We're almost out of the crowd when we notice an even bigger one standing towards the exit.

"Oh my god.. is that my dad?" Lily said as we walked towards the second crowd. 

"It is.. Wow he looks hot." I said, blushing and pushing my hair to the side. 

Lily turned to me and made a puking noise.

"There are my two favorite girls!" Johnny says smiling and opening his arms wide.

"Hey dad." Lily says.

"Hey Mr. Depp." I say nervously, eyes darting towards the floor. 

"Lily, Megan. W-wow. You look beautiful." Johnny blushed.

"Thank you Mr. Depp." I respond shakily. 

"Johnny, please."

"Okay. Thank you, Johnny." We laugh. 

After a moment of gazing up and down at each other, Lily once again breaks the silence. 

"Now that you two are done flirting with each other, can we leave?" Lily says.

Johnny and I blush, breaking us out of our trace before we leave the airport.

As we walked through the door and into the car, I can't help but wonder:

Does Johnny like me? Maybe he was just being nice.. Why would he like me?
