Oi, McKenzie.

I reread Levi's note a couple times over. He hadn't passed me a note since the first day of school. Why did he start up again Friday of our third week of school?

Yeah?

Levi stared at the paper a while before writing.

Do you want to go somewhere with me tomorrow?

I dunno. Depends where.

A restaurant.

I smiled before I wrote my next sentence.

Food? Alright, I'm in.

"Levi, what are you and McKenzie up to back there?" Mrs. Kim asked.

Levi looked up, "McKenzie needed help with one of the questions. I didn't want to help her out loud, as if not to embarrass her. It was an elementary level question- nothing detrimental."

My cheeks flared red as Armin and the teacher looked at me.

"That's understandable," she replied, returning back to the lesson.

I pulled the strings of my sweatshirt and put my head on the desk. I was beyond embarrassed. Levi was such an asshole. I'd have to get him back for that later.

I felt a piece of paper touch my pinky. I loosened the hole just enough to read it.

Are you still on for tomorrow?

I dunno. I may be too ashamed to leave the goddamn house.

Whatever, you asked me what the unit circle was on the first day.

I was still in summer mode then!

You're always in summer mode.

I glared at Levi. I then wrote my final statement and then closed the hole all the way.

We can't always communicate by passing notes. I don't think that'll work for tomorrow. My phone number is **********.

----

I woke up to my phone blaring. I groggily grabbed it off the nightstand.

"Ackerman? Why is Mikasa calling me?" I asked, reading the caller ID.

The ringing stopped before I could pick up. My phone had fifteen notifications. One of them was a voicemail. I groaned. Why the hell was was Mikasa so damn determined? Is something wrong with Eren?

I started to call back the number, panicked until I came to a sudden realization. Mikasa's number was saved into my phone as "Mikasa es su casa." So unless Mikasa got a new phone number, this most certainly wasn't her.

I looked at the time. It was half past noon. Was I supposed to be doing something today?

"SHIT, LEVI'S LAST NAME IS ALSO ACKERMAN!" I finally hit the green call button, blushing from embarrassment.

"Oi," Levi picked up after the second ring.

"I'm so sorry," I replied, "I sleep till like one on the weekends."

I heard Levi sigh, "That isn't very healthy."

"ThAt iSn'T vEry HeAltHy," I mocked, "To be honest, I thought you were Mikasa at first when I finally heard the phone."

Levi clicked his tongue, "Well when do you want to go out today?"

I almost dropped my phone, "What?"
