Kill Me Please

Levi was sleeping on me when I felt my phone vibrate. I carefully pulled it out. It was a text from my mom. My eyes widened. Shit.

"Levi," I shook the midget, "you need to leave."

Levi opened one eye and then closed it, "Nope. This is payback for this morning."

I flicked him, "Now's not the time for that. My mom is coming over today. I need you gone."

The front door creaked open and I froze. Levi just continued to lay on me and closed his eyes again, not giving a fuck.

"McKenzie!" Mom called, "I'm ho-ome!"

She walked into the living room to see my boyfriend sleeping on my lap. I smiled awkwardly, not knowing what to do. Mom smiled at me and then looked down, noticing Levi. Her smile widened.

"McKenzie, who's the boy?" she asked, wiggling her eyebrows at me suggestively.

Levi sat up, rubbing his eyes. They widened slightly when he realized that my mom was watching us. He then sat up straight.

"He's Eren's and my friend," I lied.

Levi's eyes gleamed evilly, "You must be Mrs. Jaeger."

Mom smiled and nodded, "Actually, I'm Ms. Jaeger. Nice to meet you."

I sat in horror as my mom flirted with my boyfriend. Levi seemed amused by this whole predicament.

"Levi Ackerman," he introduced, shaking her hand, "You must be McKenzie's sister, Ms. Jaeger."

"Actually it's Dr. Jaeger. Stop trying to play along Levi. She's obviously my mother," I growled.

My mom laughed and Levi smirked. I sat in his lap and glared at my mom.

"He's my boyfriend, happy?"

Mom laughed, "You're so funny, McKenzie. Feeling threatened by your mother."

Levi rested his chin on my shoulder, "That's a little weird, Kenzie."

I blushed, "Mom has a thing for younger guys, so it's understandable."

"And I see you have a thing for older guys," Mom mused, looking him up and down, "How old are you Levi? Twenty-four?"

"I'm a senior in high school," Levi replied.

I raised an eyebrow. When is Levi's birthday?

"I see," Mom looked at me, "You like a man with experience."

Kill me.

"Shut the hell up," I shivered.

"Have you had sex yet?"

"MOM!"

"Well, have you?"

Levi's arms tightened around my waist, "Of course not, Dr. Jaeger."

"I'm sorry if she isn't any good. She's a grade A virgin. She most likely hasn't even seen a penis, much less what to do with one," Mom laughed.

"What the actual fuck, Mom? I'm fifteen!" I screamed.

Levi laughed. I wanted to die.

"It's a little early for that, don't you think?" Levi asked.

Mom nodded, "That's a good answer. Honestly, I don't care as long as you don't get her pregnant or give her any STDs."

"What kind of mother are you?" I asked.

"I'm just surprised that you're dating someone like Levi and still a virgin."

"MOM!"

----

"I like your mom," Levi teased, kissing me.

"Fuck you," I didn't let him use tongue, "I want to die."

"So your mom is a doctor?"

"Yeah. She works at my uncle's hospital. She basically runs it, because he kind of went missing."

"Eren's dad?"

I nodded, "Yeah."

"Is it really okay to leave your mom?"

"We were called down by Hange for something that they claim is 'life changing,' so I don't see a problem. It'd be a bigger problem staying home," I waved it off.

Levi opened the door to Hange's laboratory, the smell of formaldehyde stinging our noses. Levi let me go in first, but was basically up my ass. He always told me that Hange was crazy, but I wouldn't know. I rarely saw them around.

"Oi, shitty glasses," Levi called, "what the fuck did you call us down for?"

Hange popped out of nowhere, their labcoat and glasses covered in blood and their ponytail a mess, "I found out something about the TITANs."

We followed Hange. I squeezed Levi's hand, kind of scared. We went into a room where we saw someone strapped down to a table, various machines hooked up to them.

"Is that a TITAN?" I asked, hiding behind Levi.

"Mhm," Hange seemed excited, like they just got a new bike for Christmas, "I named him Tito. Do you notice anything different about him?"

I stared at him. He looked like a normal human until I saw it, "His brain... it's different."

"She's smart, Levi," Hange praised, "Yes, McKenzie, that is absolutely right. His brain is different. It's lit up like a cocaine addict's! There is something off about the TITANs, and I have always had a feeling. They're high!"

I walked closer to the TITAN, leaving the safety of Levi, "What's causing this? Is there a drug dealer lacing something in that's causing people to turn cannibalistic?"

Hange's eyes dimmed a little, "That... I am not quite sure of."

"Can it be cured?"

"Possibly."

I turned around to see Eren standing in the corner, "My dad left me a key to the basement of our old house. It's supposed to have information on the TITANs."

"U-Uncle knows about what's creating the TITANs?" I asked.

Eren shrugged, "Maybe."

I turned to Levi. He seemed to be thinking hard. He looked at Hange, "Glasses, Eren, Kenzie, come with me. We are going to talk to Erwin about this."
