It was 5:53 pm. I was walking by a bar. There was this huge sign. "Music Live every day at 6. Today's show: Chris Drew"
I read the name, and suddenly I started to walk to the door. It was a little bar. Nothing special. It was all in wood pieces, red chairs, and tall tables. There were only three of them occupied. The seats by the bar were old, but everyone in them looked comfortable.
I stepped in, and ran to the table next to the door. I put the beanie of my hoodie on and waited for the show to start.
-Hi. Do you want anything? -A girl in a black dress asked me with a little notebook in her hands.
-Ahm.. I would like a whiskey. -I said to her.
-Right, be right back. -Said walking away.
-Hey! - I said, talking again. She looked back- Do you receive credit card?
-For a whiskey? Girl, it's a two dollar count. -She said angrily. I looked at my pockets, I only had ten dollars.
-guess I'll have to walk home... -I said putting my money on the table. She walked again to the bar.
Suddenly there was a sound, like someone plugging the speakers. I looked at the scenario and there was a girl with blue hair checking on the microphone and the guitar amplifier. She looked boring. I kept looking at her until she finished and then she walked down the little stairs directly to the bar.
-Here you are -The girl in black dress putting my glass on the table
-Thanks -I said taking it. She looked at me for a second but then she left. I tried to cover my face with some of my hair, but I guess my brown bob cut wasn't enough.
-Hello, everyone. Hope you have a good afternoon...
There he was. Sitting on that tall backless chair. He was wearing grey skinny ripped jeans, an old long sleeved shirt and no shoes. His hair was longer, maybe by the shoulders. Last time I saw him he didn't have those face tattoos, but at least he still have that thing for not using shoes letting his feet tattoos to be free.
-I would like to sing you a song... a very special song... for me. It's called "Sweet perfection"
No one was paying attention, but he did not seem to care. He started playing the guitar. Oh, how much I loved to see him playing. He was in his world, he was no longer here. He was... happy.

Last night was a thriller, was a killer, was a damn good time.
I met a pretty girl and I wanted to make her mine.
So I took her for a walk and damn, that girl could talk.

I smiled, remembering that night. Caleb, a senior year guy made a party at his house. Josseline insisted me to went with her... but she left me at the end for that Steven guy.
I was so upset at the beach chairs of Caleb's back yard. He came to me and started to talk...

We talked about all the pretty things and all the shitty things
And all the little things that fall between.

-I'm Chris -he said sitting next to me
-I'm Ciara...-I smiled

And oh, pretty girl,
I know that I just met you,
But I might just dare to say
That I love you.

-So... what's tonight talk? -He smiled
-I don't know. What do you want to talk about? -I said laying back in those beach chairs
-About you... -He said looking me
-Me? -ai said laughing
-I want to get to know you...

And oh, sweet perfection,
Won't you hear my one confession?
I've been lost
But dear, I'm found.

—You're like the perfect girl... -He said joking
-What? Not at all! -I said laughing
-Mom must be proud of you... -He said with a smile in his eyes
-Mom... mom died two years ago.. -I said looking at the pool
-I'm sorry... -He said taking my hand- Mine died when I was 3
-Now we get something in common -I said trying to get us in a good mood again
-Yeah... someone that understands me -He said smiling so sweet

I've been lookin' for a girl that's just like you
You got words to say, but no point to prove.
You got me and that's enough for you,
And girl, I got you.

-You're an Ivory? -he said raising an eyebrow
-Yes, but I don't like to say that -I covered my arms
-You don't have to. Everyone in Joplin knows who you are. - He said smiling
-Really? Because I don't even know who I am. -he laughed

I've been lookin' for a heart that's so complete,
So satisfied with the little things.
I got you and that's enough for me,
So girl, can't ya see
That you and me, could be so free, and live happy?
So take my hand and let's run..

-You don't like parties, gilr? -he asked
-Not really, I... I'm here with my friend, but she's gone now
-I see... -He got up- Want to come?
-Where?
-You have to see... -He said giving me his hand.

And oh, pretty girl,
I know that I just met you,
But I might just dare to say
That I love you.

-You're... so pretty -he said looking at me
-Thank you... - I said blushing.
-What are you thinking of? -He said looking at the stars
-Why...
-What? -he said looking back at me.
-why am I here with you? -I said slowly - I mean... I just met you. But..
-But? -he said smiling
-But I'm so happy with you. -I said looking at his eyes.

And oh, sweet perfection,
Won't you hear my one confession?
I've been lost
But dear, I'm found.
But Dear, I'm found.

-I'm happy with you too... -He said approaching
-I...
-You... -He said laughing
-I love you.
I took his face and kissed him.

Chris stopped playing, he seemed to be smiling. I felt tears forming in my eyes. I quickly cleaned them.

-Hey... -I said to the girl. She looked at me- Another one. -She nodded and talked to the bartender.
