Wedding Plans

My mom told us where she wanted us to get married, in a place called Lake Chelan. We saw pictures of the place, and we wanted to marry there, too.

Maly estimated the place to be two and a half hours away from North Bend, where we will have already moved to at the time. Fortunately, we got our last load packed up, but we still have to haul it to North Bend, and check out of the apartment.

I told my boss that I would be leaving Spokane County with Maly, and he said that he was seriously going to miss me. He held a big going away party for me, and my coworkers wrote cards to me, telling me how they enjoyed my company.

My boss did the same, and sent me off with a big gift. I knew I was going to miss working at Dick's Drive-In, and I do.

I'd already applied for a job at Bass Pro Shops, got interviewed for it, and got the job! Maly was very excited for me. As soon as we unloaded every last thing, Maly applied for a teaching job at Mt. Si High School; the only high school in the Snoqualamie School District, and that of North Bend.

My mom is the Maid Of Honor for the wedding, and Kayla was to sing Love Song by Adele. Maly said that song always makes her tear up just a little bit when she thinks of me.

I smiled very brightly at that because I knew that deep down inside her heart, she loved me just as much as I loved her.

I hugged Maly, and she said, "I don't want to hear it until our wedding day!" I let out a chuckle.

Maly's niece (her brother Beaudry's daughter) Carissa was to be the flower girl. Beaudry's family would come over frequently — Carissa's sister Jayla was always the one doing something else, rather than talking to the rest of us.

As of now, the wedding was to take place on August 25th. We moved out in early July, and everybody's happy with the way things are going. We're both having a decent time adapting to our new environment, which is good for us, considering the fact that we both have a pretty fixed mindset.
