The notes of a new song floated through the house.

It was a song America new well, easily humming along. He put down the cleaning supplies he had, and moved to the music.

Closing his eyes, he fell into a familiar dance, one decades old. He easily moved about the room, never stumbling, though he had been out of practice for several years.

He threw out his arms, ready for the finale.

A pause.

Chuckling, he opened his eyes, now glazed over with shimmering tears.

"I forgot time again," he calls out to the empty room.

"You always had that impact on me, you know?" America said as he moved over to a picture.

"You were so wonderful," he whispered, running his hands over the glass. "I'll never forget you," he added.

Turning, he saw the picture of Arthur he had hung, in that location for one specific purpose.

"Never fall for a mortal," the picture's eyes burned. "It'll only give you trouble."
