8- The kinda date!

Natsu P.o.v
I can't let Lucy of my sight. Whatever it takes. It's gonna be hard to watch her and take jobs. What can I do with Lucy without her getting into danger? If Lucy wasn't desperate I could go on a job. What I could we do without getting trouble.

"Lucy would you like to head to the waterfall area. We will have some fun!" I said. "You're sure you want to Natsu? You were really mad at me yesterday." Lucy said putting her face in her coat. "I'm sure!" I replied.

"If you say so," Lucy said grabbing her jacket.
"Alright!" I said grabbing her arm. "Calm now Natsu I'm coming Natsu!" Lucy giggled.
It at least she felt better.

Lucy P.o.v
As I and Natsu headed to the park even though I felt guilty I also felt love. Was it true that Natsu liked me? Is that why when I'm in trouble he's the one to save me?

By the time we got the park. Everyone was playing in the snow (it's winter now in Magnolia) Natsu and me headed over to the fountain I tossed a coin in there, so did Natsu. As we walked over to the waterfall Natsu put his hand on my shoulder.

I started blushing really bad. I buried my face in my jacket, as we walked.
"Natsu I just want to say thank you," I said looking at him. "For what?" Natsu questioned. "For saving my life all those times," I said quietly. "No problem Luce," I said.

Finally, we arrived at the waterfall. It was amazing me and Natsu stared into the beautiful water ripples floating. Later I and Natsu went over to a bench to talk for a while.

Natsu P.o.v
As I and Lucy were talking I noticed Lucy was shaking a little. "Lucy are you cold?" I asked putting my scarf on her. "Well, I'm fine now." She said. We both hugged each other.

"Lucy I know it's hard to talk about but why were you trying to commit suicide?" I ask. "Natsu I don't know anymore, lately my head has been messed up and I can't think straight," Lucy explained. "Oh ok just wondering," I said.

As the sun went down. I and Lucy just kinda stared. A man playing the violin played some settling music. As couples kissed each other it made me nervous, should I try to kiss Lucy? I thought. It's now or never.

I put my hand over Lucy's shoulder, she did the same. Our faces came closer and closer until finally, I was less than an inch away from her. But before I do anything, Gray was right in front of me and Lucy, I was so embarrassed.

"Were you going to kiss Lucy?" Gray snickered. I got up and put our heads together and yelled: "WHAT THE ARE YOU DOING HERE ICE BOY?" While Lucy was blushing me and Gray had a mini argument.

When Gray went away. I held Lucy's and hand "Let's head back to the Guild Lucy." I said. "Ok then." She said. On the way back I thought WHY AM I SO STUPID.
