19- He Falls

Lucy P.o.v
Just as walk out the door, I hear Caroline. Don't tell anyone or else. I try to ignore her order, as I walk down the streets, I see a certain pink hair wizard.

"Hey Natsu." I exclaim. "What's new Luce?" Natsu asks. "Oh just the usual." I answer. I stare at Natsu blushing, I wanted to stop but I couldn't.

It's really just Natsu's determination that makes me keep pushing forward. It's the only reason I won't die. If he was gone I probably be dead.

As we spend the night hanging out, I can still hear her. She was one who called out to me in the woods, she made me feel guilty, I will hate her forever.

Natsu P.o.v
Should tell her how I feel? What would be her reaction to it? "Lucy I-I.." I muttered. "What is it Natsu?" She asks smiling. I couldn't say it, her smile was so bright. Everything about her was too perfect to describe.

I tripped over a rock. "Heh." I mutter. "Are you ok?" Lucy questions helping me up. "Yea, I'll be ok." I said. Just being around Lucy makes me feel nervous.

I paused. I had strange feeling. But was it different type of feeling, it wasn't magic it was more like force. Then before I realize what I was doing, I grabbed Lucy by the neck.

She was screaming in agony. "LET ME GO NATSU!" She grunted. "I'm not doing I swear." I said and trying not to
cry.

After I told Lucy that she screams "STOP THIS CAROLINE!" Then slowly release my grip on Lucy's throat. Who the heck is Caroline? And why did Lucy scream her name?

I don't ask Lucy because she seemed like she didn't want to talk about it. "Natsu let's just go somewhere else." Lucy whispers staring at the ground. "Ok Lucy."

We both eventually sat by a water fountain nearby. For just a while we both didn't to each other. Then I ask "Lucy who's Caroline?" I stare at her waiting for a answer.

She lips moved, but no words came out. I turn for a second. Then I get face full of water. And spin around and see Lucy giggling. "Oh, you wanna this game?" I playfully said, splashing her.

"So I a fire dragon slayer can't handle a little water?" She giggles. "Of course I can handle some water!" I protest. "Then catch me." Lucy smirks. "What?" "I said, catch me." Lucy said running off.

"Get back here!" I said running after her. In the darkness I could see Lucy. Finally I catch her. I grab her by the shirt "You lost, heh." I tell her.

We both settled down to on a bench.

Lucy P.o.v
As me Natsu talk we both talk we lean into a hug. That's it Lucy, you've made me mad now. Caroline grunts. Before my very eyes, Natsu shoves me off the bench before he could move.

The last thing I saw was Natsu and white light. I stand up to see Natsu on the ground. She didn't... I think running over to him.

I checked to see if he was still alive. I breathed in relief when he breathing. As I try to pick him up, I feel blood on my hands.

I hate Caroline.
