22- Goodbye

Natsu P.o.v
"You can't do this." I protest. "It's the only way Caroline will end this madness." Lucy replies. "Caroline?" I mutter. I grab Lucy's hand only to find blood dripping from her mouth. I back away in shock.

She really wanted to do this. But I wasn't going to let do this. "If I do this Caroline will leave you all alone, if this will make everyone happy, I will gladly give my life away." Lucy said. "Natsu, you don't understand I want my life to end, this guilt is too much to handle." She continues.

"You mean when you accidentally killed the counsel member?" I ask. "Lucy, you shouldn't feel guilty." I tell her. "Of course I should feel guilt." She responds.

As she walks closer to the edge. I try to convince her to stop. Nothing worked. "Please Lucy don't do this." "Goodbye, Natsu." She said preparing to fall backwards.

"DON'T DO THIS BECAUSE I LOVE YOU!" I scream. "Natsu... I love you too." Lucy said falling backwards. For a moment I stare at her falling deeper and deeper.

Without any thought I jump into the water fall and grab Lucy in mid-air. She was breathing heavily. Her eyes snapped open she stared at me when I said "LUCY I WILL NOT LET YOU DIE, THAT'S A PROMISE!" I yelled.

We both crash into the ground. I look at myself to make sure I didn't have any cuts. I had a couple cuts but I was fine. Same for Lucy.

The we landed pretty deep down. I could hear water. The water came crashing down on me and Lucy. "Arghhhh!" I screamed. Cough! Lucy said drowning. I grabbed her and started swimming closer to a high surface.

I grabbed on the rocky side. Me and Lucy sat there staring. "Thanks Natsu." She said.

Lucy P.o.v
I stared Natsu, then I looked away. Now he knows how I feel. But he also loves me too. Natsu leans closer in face. I lean closer too. My eyes start dripping tears. Natsu wipes my eyes.

My lips touched his, we kissed. After that I revealed everything to him that was happening for the last few months. He told me that it was going to be ok.

The wind whispered that something was nearby. Caroline. "Natsu, Caroline is nearby." I tell him. He nods his head.

YOU'RE RUINED EVERYTHING YOU BRATS! Caroline yells. That's it! She yells. Then, Caroline began to look more like a human, every part of her body became visible.

"If you noticed already, I'm not a ghost, My magic is turning into a ghost." Caroline said. Her pale skin was about as white as snow. "If your not going commit sucide, Lucy I just do that by myself."

"Stand back." Natsu said putting his arm on my waist. "You... Ruined all of plans!" Caroline said pointing at Natsu. "Now your going to die!" Caroline screams.

Caroline vanishes into thin air. "Where the heck do she go?!" Natsu exclaims. "FIRE DRAGON ROAR!" He yells. Nothing happened. Missed. Caroline whispers.

After many failed attempts to hit Caroline. I suggest a idea to him. "We can't do that!" Natsu said staring at me. "What do you have any other better ideas?" I tell him. "No." Natsu responds.

"So we do this." I reassure. "Ok." He said. We put our hands together "UNISON RAID!" We yell. The bright light surrounded the area me and Natsu were in.

We both look at Caroline who was now on the ground. "You guys win." Caroline mutters. I slowly walk to her. "Why did you do this? And also are you really a Heartfila, I have a hard time believing that." I ask.

"I not really a Heartfila, I was always jealous of the Heartfila family, my family was always poor, so when I heard that there was only one Heartfila left, I wanted you dead because if you were dead I wouldn't hear about the rich Heartfila's anymore." Caroline explains.

"Caroline, I don't own any riches." I tell her. "Oh, I'm sorry Lucy. My deepest apologies." Caroline quickly tells me.

"I need to go. Goodbye Lucy." Caroline said running off. "Goodbye Caroline." I said waving at her. "Let's go back to the guild." I said.

As me and Natsu and I walk back to the back to the guild, I wrap my hands on his shoulders.

"I found her." Natsu said as we walk into the guild. "So you finally told her." Gray said looking at me and Natsu holding hands.

"SHUT UP!" He yells. I giggle. I wanted to share everything to my guild.
I want to always be honest. I explain everything that happened. As always everyone understanded me.

"Hey Salamnader, since you told Lucy about how you feel, you should kiss just to prove it." Gajeel taunted. "KISS, KISS!" The guild chants.

"If this will get you guys to be quiet, fine." I said giving Natsu a kiss on the cheek. "WHOOOOO!!!" The guild whoops.

"Heh, Natsu is silly." I said.

And Now it's been 15 years since at that happened. I'm telling the story to my two beautiful kids, Nashi Dragneel and Luke Dragneel.

"I love you Lucy." Natsu said giving me a kiss. "I love you Natsu."

This is sadly the end of my story.
