Preparing For PAX Prime

I was lying in the bed when I realised that Sean wasn't lying next to me. For once, he had to do into work in the morning as they were short on waiters so he had to go in.

I grabbed my glasses off my bedside table along with my IPhone 7. I checked the time which was 10:19 in the morning so I decided to try to get of bed.

It was getting harder and harder to do different everyday things like get out of bed which includes me having to roll on my side and push up. Also the simple everyday task of walking was getting even more difficult. I couldn't walk properly so I had to waddle everywhere I go.

I, very slowly, managed to walk downstairs into the lounge where I saw Chica curled up in her basket, fast asleep. I chuckled to myself as she was always like this in the mornings.

I walked into the kitchen and managed to make myself a bowl of Corn Flakes and went over to the table to sit down and eat. I had finished and left the bowl in the sink and went back into the living room and started to get comfortable when I heard a knock on the door.

I sighed and slowly go up to answer it. I opened the door to find Bob and Wade stood there waiting.
"Hey guys." I said to them.
"Hi Mark are you ready to go to PAX Prime?" Bob asked.
"Shit! I forgot all about that. Can you guys help me pack while I talk to Sean." I asked them. They nodded and walked in going straight to my bedroom.
I grabbed my phone and decided to call Sean.

S ~ Hey baby what's going on?
M ~ I forgot it was PAX Prime this weekend and now Wade and Bob have come to pick us up. Can you get out of work now.
S ~ Yeah of course. I've already asked my boss and she said that I can.
M ~ OK good. See you in half a hour?
S ~ Yeah, OK. Love you
M ~ Love you too
S ~ Bye
M ~ Bye.

I disconnected the phone and went upstairs to find Bob had packed all of my stuff like clothes, soap, etc and had moved onto packing Sean's stuff into a suitcase so I decided that I would help him.

Once we had everything packed, Sean had just come back from work and was waiting for us to get ready to go. Bob and Wade carried the suitcases down the stairs and got them into the car.

Once we had put down plenty of water and food for Chica, we left the house and started to drive to PAX Prime as I did not want to go on a plane.

We soon left California and started to drive to PAX Prime...
