Okay okay, im alive and heres your chapter you little children, enjoy it!

Jake hadn't quit fussing over Derek and I since we returned from our little gruesome kidnapping adventure, but Derek hadn't quit grinning.

I looked at my mate with a frown as I caught him grinning yet again.

What the fuck is going through your head?

His grin widened and In my mind, from his view, I saw myself ripping that stupid wold to shreds and I rolled my eyes with an exasperated sigh.

What is so good about that?

He stood from the couch across the lounge and came to sit with me.

We were currently in the Alpha and my brothers house as jake made us food and Tylar was out keeping an eye on the group I took to find Derek.

"Because you saved me, and loved me enough to do something like that. Because you didn't leave me and you showed them whose boss, because you are the only one I love, what is good about it is that he got what he deserved, you are mine and I am never letting you go"

My heart pounded harder and he smirked, obviously hearing the pounding sound.

I slapped his arm half heartedly, muttering.

"You... I swear, you'll be the death of me..."

He wagged his eyebrows suggestively and I blushed.

"Get screwed"

He only grinned.

"Derek! Max! sit the hell down before I get tylar on your asses!"

We both sat straight away, me realising I had stood whilst talking to my mate.

"Sorry jake"

He just rolled his eyes, but grinned to let us know it was fine.

We were forced into eating, then after multiple check ups to see if we were really okay, we left the house, and Derek took my hand, leading me somewhere, don't ask I don't know, all I could focus on was the immense pleasure at our skin on skin contact, and well, lets just say from what I could smell, he felt the same way.

Wink wink.

He walked right up to a house, it was a bloody nice house by the way, and pulled out a set of keys, opening the mahogany wooden door, pushing it open, flicking the light switch and pulling me in with him.

He gave me a super cute nervous look.

"De? Whats the matter baby?" I murmered.

He shuffled slightly and pulled a replica of the house key off his bunch of keys.

"I was wondering, if you wanted to... liveherewithmeinmyhousejustustogether"

I gaped at him.

I understood it all.

"You... you really mean it? You want me to...? Are you sure"

He handed the key to me with a compassionate smile that warmed me right up, that had my heart threatening to break me.

"More sure than I am that I am a wolf. I want you by my side always max, I never want you to leave me. Every inch of me loves you, I could never live without you, you make me, me. You filled the hole in my heart, you made my life worth it when I was on the edge, without you, I probably wouldn't be here right now"

I gasped when the full meaning hit me and tears came uncalled into my eyes.

"Oh I-I-I..."

I was lost for words so instead I threw my arms around his neck, sobbing into the crevice between his shoulder and neck.

"Never let me go, I-im so glad you ne-never k-killed yourself, I love you so much"

My life would never be the same again, and here everything had changed by this mans hands.
