"okay lets get serious here," donghyun scoots in closer to the table. just as he was about to start with their dicussion, he realises that none of his friends were listening.

woojin was busy nodding and dancing, with earbuds in, and tapping on the table in sync with the beat of whichever song is playing. youngmin was on his phone, looking extremely frustrated; grunts and constant hair-pulling was seen. daehwi, on the other hand, is vigorously typing on his laptop. the same look of frustration is seen on his face as he smashes the backspace button. all donghyun could do was sigh.

"how are we suppose to help youngmin hyung when none of you guys look like you want to be here in the first place."

woojin took out his earpiece, both daehwi and youngmin looked up from their devices and gave donghyun their 100% attention.

and so, he starts giving youngmin a pep talk, telling him how he should handle things with sunghwa. it was all a surprise for woojin, daehwi and even youngmin. they never knew donghyun was capable of giving such great advice; but then again, he has always lend his listening whenever the boys needed him and never fails to help them.

"donghyun..." youngmin looks up, "thank you.. i dont think id know ehat to do if you werent here to help."

"its totally fine hyung," donghyun pats youngmins shoulder, "besides, ive never seen you so flustered around a girl before."

the four boys laughed their asses off, exchanging slaps on each others backs. the boys continued their day as per normal, talking about 'overwatch' and daehwi's new girlfriend. ("HYUNG, SHES NOT MY GIRLFRIEND.") just then, a man walked out from the counter and approached them.

"mr. lee!" donghyun calls out.

"donghyun, you dont have work today right? what are you doing here?"

donghyun scratches his neck, explaining that he usually meets woojin, daehwi and youngmin at the cafe when their free, since its close to woojin's and daehwi's school. it was alot more easier as well since youngmin works there too.

"ahhh.. speaking of work, youngmin, i need to speak to you- in private."

confused, youngmin got up and followed mr. lee.

"is anything the matter, mr. lee?"

"actually... im afraid to tell you that you wont be working here anymore," his eyes widened.

"this is so sudden... but, ive yet to pay sunghwa the full repairment fees, are you sure-"

"sunghwa told me to fire you... you arent working here anymore. im sorry, youngmin."

and with that, mr. lee makes his way back to the kitchen. "oh, and she told me she doesnt want you to come by here as well."

bang! do you hear that? thats the sound of youngmin's heart being shot by the bullet called 'bad luck'- and oh, it isnt his first time.

still taken aback, youngmin makes his way back to his friends slowly. he wasnt able to comprehend why he was suddenly being fired from the job he never wanted to do in the first place! thats im youngmin for you.

"are you okay?"

"you look sadder than just now, what happened?"

"did mr. lee fire you?" woojin asks, chuckling right after. youngmin looks at woojin right in the eye and sighs.

"heol.." woojin gasps.

youngmin sighs once again and plops himself beside woojin. he packs his stuff slowly, dreading to leave the cafe knowing he probably could never enter it again. as if things couldnt get any worse; it did.

"okay dont look, but sunghwa noona just entered the cafe," and even despite donghyun's warning, daehwi almost immediately snaps his head to the direction of the door and makes eye contact with sunghwa.

"aisshhh.. am i cursed or something?"
