-2 || Find a Chill Person You Can Chill With For the Rest of Your Life-

SHABNAM : DEW

There are a lot of times when you just want to stab someone in the eye. Or something, even.

Repeatedly.

But unlike the majority of the people, it was not my alarm clock.

It was my natural alarm clock. I had a thing for waking up at the time that I had wanted to without ever needing anything for allowing me to. I had read somewhere a fact that it was due to a stress hormone that allowed certain people to do this.

And even though the only stress that I had was about my English assignment that I had due today and had procrastinated successfully enough to not do, I didn't get why I woke up at six-thirty in the morning instead of my usual seven-thirty.

And as a way to punish myself, I didn't bother getting out of bed and completing the assignment when I could. Instead, I rolled around in the bed like a retarded dog.

And no, as you can guess, I was not one of those people who compromised and got out of bed after accidentally waking up earlier than usual. So what if I woke up a bit earlier than usual? That doesn't mean I have to necessarily get out of bed.

And only in the last five minutes after which I had to get up, did I fell my eyelids getting heavy.

Damn it, sleep, get yourself a psychiatrist. You're in dire need of help.

Groaning and getting out of bed, I got myself in a presentable manner before heading downstairs. Immediately heading towards my bag, I arranged it, cursing myself for not doing it the day before. Ammi came and placed my breakfast on the table. "You got up by yourself today." She stated the obvious. I gave her a smile as a reply.

Gobbling down the food, I waited for Zain to come downstairs. He was the one who usually dropped me off to university before heading on to his own.

Finally, after a short wait, he graced himself with his presence. "Look who's early." I taunted him sarcastically. He looked at me with a sleepy glare. "Keep your mouth shut, will you? It's too early to hear your nonsense."

"Excuse you and your bratty behavior." I mocked him, a hand to my heart.

He simply rolled his eyes at me before making a face at the cup of milk Ammi forced us both to drown every morning.  And to think I would actually be able to make the decision of not having to force milk down my throat at the age of twenty.

I rolled my eyes, as I pulled out my English book and stared at the to-do assignment in horror.

I am so dead.

But I'm still not gonna do it.

Hearing the jingle of keys, I looked up as Zain motioned for me to get a move on. Slamming the screen door on my way out, I heard a scold from Ammi along with an *Allahafiz.

The ride to my university was normally short, and I bid a salute to Zain as I watched him speed off. The gate to my huge university was opened and students were bustling inside the infamous IQRA UNIVERSITY.
