Mystery Boy

Chapter 42

Jughead leaves and I sit at my desk writing about the football game . 

About 2 hours later  I finish . I close my laptop and sigh . I rub my face and get up . 

Tomorrow we have a pep rally and Betty and V are in it . I smile because I really wish I could be   a River Vixon. 

I wake up early the next day and get ready . I head downstairs and eat . "So you and Jughead ", My Nana says . I smile , "yeah me and Jughead are a thing ", I say taking a bite of my food . 

She smiles and kisses my forehead . "Just don't get too attached I don't want to see you getting hurt ", My nana says . I nod and head out the door . 

I'm walking to school and see Betty , V , Archie and Jughead all walking . Weird they didn't ask me to walk with them . "Hey guys ", I say causing them all to turn around . Betty and V run up to me . "hey girl wassup ", V says . I smile . "Sorry we didn't come to get you , it's really early and Jug was just going to finish talking to Archie and then go get you ", Betty says wrapping her arm around my shoulder . 

I nod , "Why so early ", I ask , "I have to get to school early to publish the paper or tomorrow ", I say . "We have River Vixons ", Betty says . I nod . 

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN ", Jughead yells at Archie . We all stop . "You can't stay , i'm sorry Jug , my dad doesn't want you at the house anymore ", Archie says . Jughead looks behind him and sees us three girls looking at them . He shakes his head walking to me . "Let's go Ganessa", he says taking my hand and leading me away from everyone . 

"Jug, are you ok", I ask . We stop at Pop's and sit at a booth for a while . He takes his beanie off running his fingers through his hair . "I.. I think I should move to Ohio with my mom ", he says . My heart falls to my stomach . 

"She said she was going to move back because of my dad and take jellybean and me with her ", he says . Tears sting my eyes . One falls down my face . "Wwhat about us ", I say . Jug tries to reach for my hands but I pull away . 

"Ganessa this is what's best for me ", he says . I mean he is right , I should stop being the selfish girlfriend . I nod wiping my tears . 

I breath in an out slowly . I grab his hands . "If this is going to be the best thing for you then go ", I say standing up . Jug stands up and places his hands on my waist and pulls me in a hug .
