Mystery Boy

Chapter 48

I head to V's house to hang out with Betty and her . I knock on the door and V answers . "Hey girl ", V says hugging me . I smile and hug her back . 

We walk in and V closes the door behind me . I see the living room set up with blankets and food "This is going to be fun ", I say setting my stuff on the couch . 

That night we all sit in a circle and just talk . 

"What happened between you and Jughead ", Betty ask . I sigh and tell them everything between Jasper and just how we solved it .

"You two are a power couple , are you guys going to be able to keep in touch this summer", V ask. I Nod. "Yeah of course , I hope so "I say .

Today is the last day of school , and Archie's Dad is out of town for a couple days and there is going to be a party at Archie's . 

I'm in my last class of the day . I sit on the table and Jughead comes over . He walks in between my legs and places his hands on my waist . "You going tonight ", he ask referring to the party . 

"yeah it's my first high school party ", I say . He lightly smiles and kisses the tip of my nose . I wrap my arms around his neck . "Ugh get a room ", Jasper says . I smile and kisses Jughead all over his face and he laughs . 

That night Betty and I head to Archie's . V is already there . We walk in and loud music blast through the door . Everyone is all dancing with each other and drinking . 

Betty and I link arms and Head to the kitchen . We find Archie and V , but no Jughead . 

Archie looks at me confused . "Jughead said you two were going out tonight ". Archie says over the loud music . I look at him confused . 

"No we didn't even talk about going on a date , I told him i'd be here ", I say . He nods . "Want something to drink ", He ask Betty and I . We shake our heads no . 

Betty , V and I head to dance . We are just dancing no care in the world . I see Reggie and he heads over to me . "Wanna Dance ", he ask . I shake my head no . "Sorry ", I say . He looks a bit hurt at my words and walks away from me. 

I go in the kitchen and get some water . "Hey Reg", I say sitting next to him. He looks at me and gets up , I grab his arm . "Wait i'm sorry about not dancing with ", I say ,"It's just Jughead ", I add . 

"If he really cared about you he'd be here even though this wasn't his scene because thats what  a good boyfriend does . "He says and walks away .
