Mystery Boy

Chapter 37

Its the day we go back to Riverdale , from the lakehouse . No one has spoken to since what happened last night . 

Betty and V get there stuff in Archie's car . I finish packing my bags and take it down to Archie's car . I get in the back seat with Jughead . V sits in the middle seat with Betty and Reggie sits in the passenger seat . 

"You guys ready "Archie says "Yes "I say . 

I lay my head on the window . What have I done to this town . Why does everyone hate me . Maybe I should keep everything I do on the down low . 

I can Jughead looking at me from the corner of my eye . I look at him and lays his head on my lap . I smile and scratch his head for a while before looking back out the window . 

About an hour later we are back in town . Archie drops Reggie off and then V . He then heads to my place and I get my things and head to my house . I don't say bye just head up to my room as soon as I get in my house . No one is home . I hear a knock at my door . I open it and its Betty . 

"Do you want to sleep over "she ask smiling . I nod and smile back . I grab a few things and text my Nana she said its fine.

Betty and I head to Pop's . Jug and Archie are there with Archie's dad . We don't say anything to them , so we get our seats and just talk . 

"Do you think Chuck's right ", I say taking a sip of my milkshake . She shakes her head . "Chuck is an asshole , I told my mom I ran into a pole getting food ". Betty says pointing to her black eye . Its just a bit purple not much . 

I laugh at her comment. Jughead and Archie look over . They both wave and head over . Jughead sits next to me and Archie sits with Betty . 

"Why didn't you come and say hi ", Jug says . I shrug . "I didn't want to ruin your dinner with you , Archie and his dad ", I say grabbing his hand and kissing it .
