At The Park
When we arrived at the park, it was shockingly peaceful; the only people around were a few older couples and the hyung who worked at the little ice cream shop here.
Yugyeom gently toke my hand into his, intertwining our fingers as we walked through the park; it was currently autumn so the leaves were starting to turn beautiful different shades of green, orange and red. It was quite a sight to me. Personally, the changing leaves have always been my favorite part of autumn. My mother often toke me to the park just to look at leaves, as a child the beauty amazed me; I was the type to look for the beauty in everything.
As I looked up at Yugyeom, all I could do was admire his beauty. The slightly setting sun shined off his face as he continued to look forward; his jaw line wasn't as defined but it was still noticeable. Running his hand through his silky hair, he looked down at me and smiled softly, surely catching my staring gaze. Sliding his sunglasses to the top of his head, this allowed me to see his charcoal colored eyes. Looking closer, I realize his eyes are two different shapes; one is slightly almond shaped and more of a mono eyelid, however the other is fuller, similar to a double eyelid.
"I could honestly stare into your eyes for eternity, they're just so captivatingly beautiful" I spoke out loud; I flushed crimson when realizing my inner thoughts suddenly came out of my lips. Glancing up at Yugyeom, I caught a slight blush appear on his cheeks as well.
"Well I think you're captivating yourself sweetheart" he spoke, smiling softly as he raised our still intertwined hands, planting a tender kiss on the top of my hand. "I know I haven't known you long but I'm glad we met" he admitted.
"I'm glad we met too Yugie Oppa" I responded, playfully swinging our hands as we continued to walk. The ice cream shop came into view as we were walking down the old pavement trail.
"Can we have ice cream Oppa?" I begged, looking up at him and giving him my cutest puppy dog eyes which instantly made him melt.
"Of course, anything for you!" he gushed, poking my nose and walking up to the hyung who owned the shop. "Can I have 2 scoops of cookie dough ice cream please" he politely asked. The hyung nodded and gave us the ice cream, which Yugyeom insisted on paying for. He then took me down to the little pond; we sat in the grass, watching the ducks in the pond play around as we peaceful ate our ice cream.
Yugyeom's P.O.V
Maysa sat beside, staring peacefully at the ducklings trying to catch each other in the pond. She'd giggle every time a duckling would splash face first into the water failing to catch another; her giggle was delightful to listen to, it was like music to my ears.
The sun was starting to set, beautiful shades of orange and pink began to cover the horizon. The remaining sunlight shone on her face, illuminating her facial features; her salmon colored lips were slightly parted, as her tongue slightly glazed against her bottom lip. Kissing her was a tempting thought that was constantly in my brain.
She had multiple piercings; she had snake bites, with simple silver studs. She also had her nose pierced along with her ears three times, and once on her cartilage. Normally, I wouldn't go for someone with too many piercings but they suited her well.
She had her lavender hair neatly in a ponytail; her bang flowed slightly to the side which covered some of her face. I watched her contently as her eyes twinkled in the light. Suddenly, she looked over in my direction and smiled, making my heart skip a beat.
"Doesn't the sunset look stunning?" she broke the silence. I wanted to gush to her about how more effortlessly stunning she is than the sunset but my brain wouldn't allow me.
"Yeah its breath taking" I muttered, looking straight ahead. She scooted closer to me, gently laying her head on my shoulder. I tenderly kissed the top of her head as I wrapped my arm around her waist; delicately rubbing small circles on her side, I started to quietly sing my own song 'The Way You Are.'
"No oh I still couldn't say it, everyone still doesn't know your charm. Not just your face, your body, they don't know but there are so many things. To me, even just your little gestures, even each of your trivial words, they're everything in my eyes." I delicately sung, as Maysa watched me in amazement.
"I love your voice so much Yugyeom" she grinned, poking my nose. I chuckled, playfully kissing her rosy cheek earning a blush from her. I adore making her flustered, her cheeks turn rose-colored and she hides her face; an action which I find charming. Gently putting my hand on her already flushed cheeks, I softly brush my thumb against her tender skin; I look down at her slightly parted lips, brushing my thumb against her bottom lip tenderly before I look back into her eyes; steadily, I lean into her tilting my head to the side as our noses slightly touch.
I gently close my eyes as I seal the distance between us, linking our lips to each other. I faintly suck on her bottom lip, occasionally nibbling, triggering a whimper to escape from her delicate lips. Wrapping my arms around her waist, I draw her closer to my body; her arms snaked around my neck, keeping our bodies intact with each other. I could feel the body heat from her against my chest; I could also feel the pounding of my heart. Her lips moved in sync with mine, this moment felt like something from a fairytale; it felt like it was meant to happen. This girl was meant to be in my life and I certainly hoped it would stay this way.
