Lol he props lost a rock papers scissors. Or Lin forced him to go because Lin's all ready been on Sesame Street so he wants the rest to go.
But like, can you imagine this:
Three hours before the play begins, and all the cast is crowded into Oak's dressing room. They are watching this video on his laptop, and laughing.
Daveed sits in front of it, blushing slightly. Johnathan Groff is singing the song and inventing a dance to it, while Oak is busy making fun of Daveed's silly outfit in the song.
As soon as the rap part of the song begins, Daveed smiles and begins to rap along quietly with it, much to everyone's delight and amusement.
Lin rushes from the room and returns a few minutes later, holding a Rubber Duckie. "So," he begins. "Is this what you did in Monticello?"
For the rest of the night, when ever someone passed by Daveed in the play, they quietly sang part of the Rubber Duckie song to him.
