The long awaited update! I hope you guys like it :) Sorry for the huge delay, for those of you who don't know I joined the army so I don't have as much time to write. Check out my other stories too, and talk to me! Love you ♥

"Dude, you can't compare x-men to iron man!" I exclaimed at my phone, speaking freely and loudly knowing that I'm the only one home.

"Course you can," Gerard's voice echoed out of the device, "It's just that you, my friend, suck." I gave out a little laugh.

Gerard and I haven't seen each other since I appeared at his place. A week passed since then, and Gerard's been saying that he's busy and that he's sorry. I didn't really mind. I really liked our conversations. I missed him, surely, but I knew that he has forgiven me and that we were back to being friends, so I was okay.

"Umm, so, you're going to Dr. Tennant's today?" He asked me.

"Yeah," I said, "at around 5, I think."

"Well, I want you to meet me after, okay? In the forest where we first met. I want us to talk about everything." He said, and my heart dropped a little. It still creeped me out a little. But I knew sooner or later we were going to have to address the elephant in the room.

"Okay. Yeah, I'd like that." I muttered, and heard Gerard laughing over the phone.

"You are so awkward." He said. I really was awkward, but when can you do when you have 0 social skills and a first friend.

"Yeah, I know. Thanks." I said sarcastically. "Well, I think I'm gonna go play a little. I'll see you later."

"See you." He said and I hung up, already on my feet and clutching my guitar. I made my way to the tree house and did some composing, coming up with some really nice pieces. I wrote them all down, I never liked risking forgetting the good pieces I come up with.

As the minutes flew by, it was already time for me to go to therapy. Since I knew I was seeing Gerard after, I went up to my room and got myself a change of clothes, to look presentable. I pulled on a pair of grey jeans and a dark blue hoodie, looking in the mirror for a straight ten minutes before I heard a key in the front door and my mom calling for me to come out.

I grabbed my little board, and we made our way to Dr. Tennant's office. The ride was quiet, as usual. As we got to the parking lot, I wrote on my board that I was going to go for a walk after the session.

"Ok." My mom said, "Don't come home too late." I crawled out of the car and made my way to the office. I wasn't talking and surprisingly, at first, Dr. Tennant wasn't either. I've never seen him do that before. He would always talk, and I would never respond, but today that was not the case. Until about 30 minutes into the session, when he started talking calmly.

"Frank." He said. I was looking at the clock, wishing that the session would be over, so that I could just go and disappear in the woods.

"Look at me." I looked at my shoes, and he sighed.

"I really want to help you, you know." He said, and I couldn't help but feel a little bad. And so, for about ten minutes, I thought and thought and finally, I picked up my board and wrote: "I made a friend." And showed it to Dr. Tennant. He seemed a bit surprised at first but then he gave me a weak smile.

"Good," He said. "That's really good. What's their name?" I scribbled on my board, and turned it back to Dr, Tennant.

"I have a patient named Gerard too." He smiled, apparently not making the connection. He asked me a few more questions and I responded to everything, and then, I decided to say something on my own accord.
