Tyler.
I woke up in nothing but darkness. I looked around and noticed I was alone. I sighed when I heard noise downstairs. After Chris told me that heart crushing story of why he's so negative towards his brother and his dad, we fell asleep. I was speechless the whole time he told me. I didn't even know Christian had an illness. You wouldn't think he would have anything.

Shaking my curls, I picked up my phone and noticed I had a lot of missed calls and text. I chuckled and called Ronnie first.

"Bitch." Ronnie said answering the phone. "You in Virginia a whole 12 hours and can't let a nigga know?"

I giggled. "I'm sorry sooo much has happened since we arrived."

"Otay but mom and dad came by." She said.

I groaned. "Why?"

"They wanted you to come home. I didn't tell them where you was though." Ronnie said, her voice dripping with attitude.

I smiled. "I love you."

"You too, have fun hoe and please text me."

I laughed. "Will do sis."

After hanging up, I looked at the time. It was 3am and I was wondering why I was awake so early. I groaned in annoyance and walked downstairs. I saw Clinton and one of the twins watching tv. I soon figured out it was Christian because Chris wasn't going to sit by his father. Not after that story.

"Hey." Christian said.

He had the most mesmerizing eyes I have ever seen. I mean chris' eyes were gorgeous too but something about Christian's eyes wanted me to know more.

"Hi." I said avoiding eye contact with the abusing father. I'm mad they let him out now that I know why he went. Fuck a good behavior. "Where's Chris?"

"He's outside with royalty. She woke up crying." He said shrugging.

I looked him in his eyes and almost broke into tears. Damn that story fucked me up emotionally. I still could see the 6 year old him crying out for his fathers attention and battling something so bad as an illness.

"You ok ma?" Christian asked cocking his head.

Ignoring his question, I gave him a hug. I know Chris and Christian aren't the closet but it's not their fault. It's his fathers fault.

I let go. "It's not your fault."

"What the fuck is going on here? You gon homie hop to my other son too?" Clinton chuckled.

Christian stared at me before giving a light chuckle to his father. "Big bro better watch out."

I frowned and walked towards the backyard. I know he plays around with his dad as a defense mechanism because he's scared to disappoint him. Call me a therapist but I got all this from the story Chris' told. Maybe I need to get Christian's side.

I turned around and walked back in the living room. "You think we could go somewhere today?"

Christian looked confused. "You sure? I'm not tryna step on big bros toes."

I nodded. "Yea."

He shrugged. "We can go to the park and chill I guess."

I smiled. "Great."

Turning to walk away, I heard Clinton mumble a few insults to Christian. It's crazy how he's still kinda controlling him even though Christian isn't like he was when he was 6.
