Chapter 1: The new intern

Yamada Ryosuke stretched his back as he looked at the files.

Why were they hiring interns? He understood Yabu was having a hard time in the lab but still an intern would be a pain. Most of them had no idea what they were doing.

They just come for the certificate that they did something in forensic.

18 applicants. He had already seen 17 of them.

<Flashback Interview>

"Why have you applied here?" Yamada cocked an eyebrow.

"I want to learn to stop crime." She fluttered her eye lashes and bent forward.

He could see Yuto's face glow red.

In this case...It was not clevage... This was an uncensored view

He raised a brow.

"Are you confident in your skills?" He smirked.

"Oh yes." She smiled

Too much. He then sighed.

"You like cockroaches?" He whispered.

"Excuse me?"

"Our lab breeds them. A whole generation...Interested?" He winked.

She left screaming.

Another one entered.

"You will be pleased with me!"

"Get out"

"I have tons of experiences."

"Oh yeah? From where? Cabarets?"

"I work well with others."

"Your files says that you are slow and incompetant and like to blame others."

"I like hot men."

"Check the oven. You might find them."

And so on....

<End flashback>

All them seriously incompetent.

"Aren't you being a bit harsh?" Yuto sweatdropped while Chinen shook his head.

"You liked the flirting?" He cocked an eyebrow.

"Not really."

"They are here for fun. What did they think? They can laze around? They think this is a joke?" Chinen grunted.

"Thank you Chii."

"Okay Okay. Now...Sigh last one. She has a better resume... Here." Yuto handed a file.

Yamada made a face when he looked at the file. His eyes widened.

This was a coincidence right? The age matched and details matched

"What's wrong?" Chinen looked at him.

He shook his head and called the next candidate.

She walked in shocking them. She wore Titan blue glasses and her hair was tied into a bun which sat on top of her head.

A simple grey T-Shirt and Black jeans with a black oversize hoodie.

Converse shoes and a draw string bag.

She looked like she never left high school.

He relaxed. It was a different person but there a strange familiarity.
