Case-Flashback 1

Matsu grumbled as she hobbled on her uninjured foot.

"I could assist you, you know." Yamada clicked his tongue.

"And then have you brush against my breasts and hear perverted comments again?" Matsu grumbled.

Yamada smiled as he grabbed her in his arms. Her face grew red.

"There. Problem solved." He smirked as he carried her to the lab.

They entered the lab when they heard another explosion. Yabu appeared wipping his glasses.

There was a fragrance of lavender and mint.

"Again?" Yamada cocked an eyebrow.

"Well.... Try try try again right?" Yabu gave a wide smile.

"In your case... Try try and kindly give up." Yamada replied as he leaned on the table

Matsu laughed as she sat on the chair while raising her foot to the stool.

"So this is little Matsu Arisa-chan!" Kamiki Ryunosuke, the forensic specialist who had gone undercover smiled at her.

"Hey! I am not little." She pouted when Ryunosuke laughed.

"So... Tell me. How did a sweet girl like you get tangled in all this?" Ryunosuke asked.

Matsu looked Yamada who nodded.

"Well.... I was around 6...."

She watched the water feeling upset.

She knew her parents were looking for her but she also knew that this was the only way to make them stop bickering.

She heard them call her name but she ignored as she watched the water flow.

Its was then she heard the sound. Like mewling as she grew closer, she recognised the sound of a baby crying.

She went near the edge when she saw a woman on the ledge holding a baby.

She woman looked at her as Arisa neared her.

She took the baby in her arms as the woman gave a sad smile.

"MAMA! PAPA!" She called as she tried to balance the crying infant in one hand and her other small hand trying to grab the woman.

"Arisa! What are you doing??!" Her father rushed.

"Papa! She needs helps!" Arisa shouted.

Her father immediately helped the woman on the solid ground as her mother embraced Arisa when she noticed the baby in the girl's arms.

"Arisa... The baby?" Her mother asked gently.

"Its hers." Arisa pointed to the woman who her father was trying to revive.

"Call the ambulance honey! She doesnt have long."

She played with the baby who was now content and happy.

She knew the adults were discussing what to do.

"Mama... papa... Oni-chan!" She called out.

Her family looked at her as her eyes sparkled.

"Look. My little sister." She smiled wholly.

The paper hit her head as she turned to the source and rolled her eyes.

"Ignoring us again Matsu?" The head cheerleader pulled her headphones out of ear.

It never helpes being the only 14 year old in senior year of high school.

"I thought it was pretty obvious." Arisa replied as she placed the headphone back in her ear.

"I know you are not listening to anything creep." She sneered when Arisa smiled.
