After a lot of talking we noticed sun the was setting, back home I would be on the couch with my Mum and sister drinking hot chocolate. I went in a daydream for a few minutes when Taylor pulled me back into reality. "We need some sleep" He blurted out. I had done a good job making 2 mattresses out of grass as they managed to keep us off the hard ground. Despite the fact I would rather be in my house this was the best we could get. In my sleep I had all sorts of dreams but then, there was one nightmare. The "unknown" girl was sitting right outside our den with a knife and when we rose she... Gasping for air I awoke awaking Taylor while I was at it. He ran over to me and hugged me while patting my back. He was very thoughtful as he also brought me a drink of water from the nearby pond. I gulped it all down then reassured him it was nothing. He wouldn't buy it, so eventually I told him the nightmare I had. He was very comforting and I felt very safe, here in his warm arms hugging me as I fell asleep. Time passed slowly and I felt I was sleeping for ages then I finally rose. I glanced over at Taylor's half of the shelter. He wasn't there, I started panicking and my heart nearly jamp out of my chest. I got out and shouted his name a few times then paused, This wasn't the kind of place I could shout his name. I stopped to keep us both safe, then I saw him. He had his top off and was leaning on a tree with a leather bag he found. I walked over to him and couldn't help but blushing. "You got food?" I questioned. He nodded and then headed over to the fire. I think I was in love with him but I need to control my feelings or I could get us both dead. He cooked me breakfast which was some fish he had caught in the steam and some roots. We gobbled it up and started talking again, then I had an idea. We could go making supplies with what we had found. I grabbed my dagger and slowly slid it into my belt and then glanced over a Taylor that was doing the same. Then we left our den, In the woods was amazing. I got to be totally me, a side I never knew I had before. I was better at shooting arrows than I thought but I was more handy with a dagger, we created some bows and arrows from tree wood and also picked up some dead rabbits which we could eat later since our rations were low. We also got to share each others knowledge he told me how to survive alone and I told him which roots were edible since I learned about plants in primary school. I never knew school would come in handy but I missed all my friends. The guys face came into my head and I stopped for a minute. "What's wrong?" Taylor asked worriedly. I wasn't a good lier but he fell for my excuse of missing my friends, which was kinda true. I also learned how to climb trees and when we got back to camp it was about dinner time. I done the cooking while he went looking for some roots to give the rabbit a better taste. But food is food. I loved the greasy texture of the rabbit and it gave me something to look forward to since there was nothing. We ate up and then got to bed ready for another day, but I knew the girl was after us so tomorrow I decided we should move camp further into the woods, but for now I needed my sleep. This may be the last night I get alive.
