GIGI'S POV
Evan ☺: I want to see you. I need to see you.

I kept rereading it.

I needed to see him too.

I need to be able to see his face in person.

Not a Facebook profile picture or an Instagram selfie.

To be held by him.

To laugh with him.

To sing badly with him. I have my license.

I mean, I'm going to New Jersey for college so three hours is nothing.

Gigi 🥀: I'm coming.

I sent the message.

I told my parents I was going out for awhile.

I grabbed my keys and phone.

I started the car.

I put his address into Google maps.

But, I still had it memorized.

I pulled up.

I froze.

Everything looked the same.

From the dead grass to the staircase leading to the front door.

I got out of the car.

Walking up the stairs gave me nostalgia.

I took a deep breath.

Why am I nervous?

I knocked twice.

The door swung open.

"Gigi." A melodic voice said.

It warmed me up to hear it again.

"Evan." I couldn't help but smile.
