Chapter Fifty Seven

GIGI'S POV
It feels like the choice is obvious.

Why am I holding back?

I drive to the beach.

I sit on one of the giant rocks.

I look out at the ocean.

I look at all the people.

Children playing a game of frisbee.

People of all ages building sandcastles.

The waves crashing onto people's legs.

I thought about what Mikey and I are.

What we could be.

"Hey sis." A voice said startling me.

"How'd you find me?" I asked as Drew sat down next to me.

"Mikey. He said you had to think. And he told me you loved the beach." He said.

"Why are you holding back?" He asked.

"I don't know. I feel like I still have feelings for Evan." I sighed.

"That's normal. He was your first love. But, I see how you and Mikey act with each other. If I didn't know I would think you two were a couple." He said.

I smiled.

I haven't stopped thinking about Mikey since he's contacted me.

"It's your heart and your decision. But, I will tell you, I've never seen a happier person." He said.

When he said that I made up my mind.

"Thanks, bro. I love you." I said hugging him.

"Love you more, sis." He said.
