Chapter Thirty

MIKEY'S POV
I hope what Evan said on the phone doesn't change Gigi's mind.

Rude, I know.

But, I want my chance.

I better make my move soon; even though I have a whole month.

I've been hanging out with her non stop.

It's great.

"Hey Gi, where'd you learn how to dance?" I asked her.

"When I was eight I took hip hop for a year. Then, I took zumba classes when I was ten. I teach zumba with my best friend because her one of her relatives owns a zumba fitness gym." She explained.

"That's so cool. When did you start teaching?" I asked.

"As soon as I got my working papers. So, end of my freshmen year I think." She smiled.

"Oh, and I still do gymnastics." She added on.

"How long?" I asked.

"Since I was nine I believe." She said.

"That's amazing. You'll have to show me one day." I said.

"If we go to the beach I can do a backhand spring into the water." She said.

"Let's go!" I said.

She drove down to Venice.

Oddly enough, no one was there.

"Go." I said snapchatting it.

She looked back and did the trick.

"That was amazing!" I said in disbelief.

"I want to try something. If I break my ankle will you take me to the hospital?" She asked.

"No duh." I said.

She started running.

She did a round off into a backhand spring into a back flip.

"Oh my god. I did it!" She exclaimed running into my arms.

"You're amazing." I said to her.

She wrapped her arms around me as we watched the waves crash.

"Hey Gi?" I asked.

"Yeah?" She said back looking up at me.

"I love you." I said.

"I love you too." She said looking into my eyes.

I can't believe this is happening.

Three years.

I've waited three years for this.

I put my lips onto hers.

I felt a spark.

She held onto me and stood on her toes.

Our lips were synchronized together.

Everything about this was perfect.

"Hey, is that them?" A voice called out.

"God damn it." I mumbled.

She giggled.

Drew and a couple others came jogging over.

"We've been looking all over for you guys!" Brady said.

"Yeah, we were going to go to dinner and wanted to invite you." Chance said.

"Let's go!" I said.
