Prologue

It was already weird to see him again, after 7 years. What's more weird was that we're now alone in front of the mall at 10pm. I was supposed to sleepover at Min Young, my cousin's house but turns out she will be late to pick me up. For him, he could've go home already but here he is, warming himself from the cold wind.

"Aren't you cold with those shorts?" He asked. I shook my head while just weirdly looking at the cars passing by. He took off his jacket and put it on me without saying anything. "You can go if you want," I told him, not wanting to keep him longer. Of course I do but... it's complicated. "I'm not leaving you alone," he said while raising up his volume of his earphone, maybe trying to avoid my counter attack.

Suddenly it was my weird ringtone scaring off both of us. I looked at the ID; Hwang Min Hyun aka my ex. I ended the call, not wanting Samuel to see but it was too late. He saw everything. My phone buzzed, it was a message.

Min Young said she's late to pick you up. I'm on my way. Wait for me there Seo Eun ah xx

My hands were half shaking but I managed to hide it from him. A few more minutes of awkward silence and the endless breeze passed. This time, it was a sound of the motorbike engine that alerted us. I glanced around and it was Min Hyun. "Seo Eun ah," he immediately ran towards me, sliding Samuel's jacket away, putting his on. He grabbed my hands, making me go with him but Samuel grabbed my other hand.

"She's mine." He said.
