Ten

I was nervously sitting in front of Min Hyun in a nearby cafe from our class. As usual, Min Hyun was flipping through the menu thinking of what to order. "We'll have ice americano, please." He said after shutting the menu.

"Why look at the menu when you order the same thing everyday?" I asked in a teasing way. "Makes me look cool," he giggled while taking out his phone, snapping a picture of me. "Hey! Delete that!" I demanded as I tried to grab his phone but he was good at avoiding my kongfu attacks.

"Why? You're my girlfriend. It's natural I have your pictures in my gallery." He said when tapping his phone, trying to do something. How could I break up with this little thing? I doubted myself if I should just continue but the sooner the better because I won't fall for him, ever. I just like the way he cares. I can't love him.

"Min Hyun ah, I have something to say." I finally made a decision as I let out a huge sigh. "What is it honey? Are you gonna marry me?" He end up laughing at his own joke while I put on a straight serious face. "Mian honey, go on." He said when he noticed my face.

"I'm sorry but let's break up." I finally said it without a slight chance on my deadpanned face but inside, it was burning in all directions. Min Hyun's face drastically frowned in the most intriguing way into my heart, breaking it. "What part am I not good enough for you?" He said as his eye sockets suddenly filled with tears, ready to fall down.

"It's not you. It's me. I still can't forget that one person. I'm really sorry." I couldn't help myself but to left the cafe as soon as possible. I would cry if I see Min Hyun cry too. I've made him cry; keeping this relationship is just more tears. I let out a huge sigh at my stupid decision in the first place as I went back home in the nonstop pouring rain.

[A week later]
The news of our break up went viral in the class. It was just SO awkward. But I made sure we remained friends since I didn't want any extra drama. Suddenly Eun Ji barged in the classroom after receiving an urgent call. She ran towards me, "Kang Seo Eun! Come out," she said as she forcefully dragged me outside.

"You won't believe this. Lisa and Samuel dating is fake after all. She threatened him to get back with her or else she will destroy Samuel's father's company. I didn't know she was that type of person. But the good news is that her father's now in jail and everything is exposed. And a friend of mine said the one Samuel likes is you. He told my friend on the phone. Aren't you happy? I'm SOOOO happy for you!" She screamed.

Of course I am happy but I wasn't sure if I had the right to. I stabbed one's heart and do I really deserve another? "Get over your silly break up already. Now go make yourself pretty. Remember, pretend like you don't know." Eun Ji excitedly helped me fix my hair and made my skirt shorter against my will.

It was lunch when Samuel approached you. "Can we talk?" He said with a very cute smile hung on his face. I followed him outside. Suddenly his friends appeared out of nowhere holding in a bouquet in his hands, later handing it to Samuel.

"I'm so sorry for pretending our kiss never happened. I kissed you on my birthday because I was in love with you since then. But I was threatened by Lisa so I couldn't be with you. I know it's late and I shouldn't be doing this, but I love you Kang Seo Eun," he said as he knelt down and waited for you answer.

Inside, you knew yourself you didn't deserve this after what you did to Min Hyun. But love always win, you gladly nodded. "Really?" Samuel jumped, immediately giving you a sweet peck on your lips. "I promise I will love you till my death." He said as he wouldn't let you go out of his embrace at all. I love him, I love his hug, I love everything about him. I was very sure I'm going to be the happiest girl on Earth.
