"Thank you, Doc. I really appreciate your help."

"No problem, just make sure she has all the necessary care she needs. And please let someone stay with her."

"Yeah about that, she will stay with Husna for the meantime, her niece will come from home and stay with her after she is through with her exams."

She nodded at him, almost asking him where 'home' was. But she let her question remained unasked and that meant she would never get to know. She realized she knew very little of Sa'eed from the day they first met, five months ago.

"I will give you a call and let you know how everything goes."

She nodded, not trusting her voice to speak. She suddenly wanted to soothe his hidden pain, the night that passed had bonded them more than she cared to admit, she had not felt such a connection in a very long time.

"Good day Mr. Sa'eed."

"Good day, Doc." She left him standing there, and went back to Mama and Husna, she bade them farewell and went back to work before she signed off and headed home.

It was going to be a long week.

Zeenah was now pampered more by Ahmad and her father, it started getting on Ammie's nerves because now her husband would not think twice before he berated her if something were to happen to his daughter, or if he heard her crying.

"Abu Na'im, what you are doing is not right, how can you let all the slack on her? She is a girl what if she grows up and ended up where no one will give her what you are used to giving her?"

"See what you are doing? Ajwa, how can you wish ill for your own daughter?"

"I do not wish ill of her, but I don't want to spare the rod now and regret later, she is too stubborn for her own good. She is not scared of anyone, her brothers are tired of the way you treat them differently, they do not say but it's there in their eyes."

"Let it be in the face if they want, she is a girl if I do not treat her well who do you want to treat her well?"

"Please understand me Abu Na'im, we have to be strict sometimes because if we are not I am afraid there will come a time when her stubbornness will pass all limits, then you won't know what to do, I pray that day never comes."

"If you are tired of taking care of my daughter just tell me that, you don't have to go on about how stubborn and disrespectful she has become." Ammie's mouth hung open at that declaration.

"May Allah have mercy on you both, but I do not wish warmness of the eyes to befall me. I will take care in the future in sha Allah."

And Hajiya Ajwa was careful, until one afternoon when she wanted to get ready quickly for Abbie was bound home that day from a trip, it was a rainy afternoon, and they have moved into their Gandun Albasa mansion leaving their Hotoro residence. She knew how Zeenah was used to dancing in the rains in their old house. Now that she was Asthmatic she took extra care on her exposure, hence she sat her down and spoke to her, she refused to tie her with a rope that day.

"Zeenah, I am going in to take a bath, you should stay put, don't go to the courtyards to play, do you get me?"

"Yes, Ammie." She answered with a small voice. Hajiya Ajwa walked to the door and set the lock on. Before she went into the bathroom.

Shortly after, Mukhtar, Alhaji Ibrahim's older son who was Labeeb's age mate came to the house, Yasir came with him to see the house and play a little in Zeenah's play room. So he went in search of her in the huge mansion. He finally located her in Ammie's room via the window located inside the long corridors.
