Brianna's POV

The weeks went by, and we anticipated our new children to come soon.

I sat at my desk along with Danielle, Faith and Maddie, and we began to plan out my baby shower.

"So we are having it here?"

"Yeah, I think its just better for me. I really don't want to have it at a huge venue."

We spend the next few hours calling places to get the food and invitations in order.

"Hey guys, How's planning?" Jerome asks walking into my bedroom and sits down on the edge of the bed.

"Going good actually. We are actually finishing up." I said. We gather our papers that we were writing stuff on and put them away.

I stand up and my grey sweatpants began to get soaked.

"Fuck. Guys!" I yell and they turn around.

My water broke.

"MITCH!" Dani, Faith, Maddie and Jerome all screamed simultaneously.

I swore I thought Mitch fell running up the stairs, but he ran into the room in a rush.

"My water just fucking broke."

Mitch froze. "Are you sure?"

"No Mitchell, I just sat in the water I spilled on my seat."

Mitch unfroze and sighed. "Oh thank God."

"Are you kidding me?! IT FUCKING BROKE. I'M SURE I'M GOING INTO LABOR." I was yelling, hormones probably took over.

"Okay okay, let's get you to the hospital." Jerome finally took charge since Mitch went back into shock again.

(time skip to the hospital)

Brianna's POV

"Oh my God..." I clenched Mitch's hand as a contraction came, and the contraction monitor rose up, and lowered.

It's been 17 hours of labor, and contractions were becoming stronger and not as spread out.

"Alright, Mrs. Hughes let's see how dilated you are." The doctor looks and does the measurement. "You're 6 centimeters dilated, a bit more than halfway there! You're doing great."

"It sure doesn't feel great."

"Well, we can offer the epidural which you don't feel anything from the waist down, or the spinal block, where you don't feel anything from the neck down. But if you want it, you have to say it now, or it will be too late."

"What do you recommend?"

"An epidural. The spinal block tends to cause women to have panic attacks because they can't feel their legs, with the epidural, you can still feel things but they won't be as strong."

"Let's do that then." I said.

(a few hours later)

Mitch's POV

The epidural was given and I walked into the waiting room.

"How is she doing Biggums?" Jerome asks.

"She's doing good, her contractions were pretty bad before the epidural was given to her but she is fine now."

"Good, so should she be delivering soon?" Faith asks.

"Yeah, in the next few hours. Jerome can I talk to you?"

"Sure buddy." We walk away from the others. "What's up?"

"Call Emalyn and tell her to get down here. I don't want Bri or Em to regret something today."

He nods. "I will, need anything else?"

"No, not that I can think of right now."

"Okay, well get back to her. She needs you more than ever now."

I turn around and I stop and I turn back around. "Hey Jerome?"

He turns back around. "Yes Mitch?"

"I...I wanted to say thanks."

He smirks. "For what?"

"For being such a good friend. You have helped Brianna and I in these past years with everything and...I don't know how I could repay you for your friendship."

"There is no need to repay me Mitch. I'm just being...me I guess."

I hug him and he hugs me back.

"This is so Merome right now." Jerome says. (HEY, I ship Merome SO hard but this isn't a Merome story! xD)

I laugh and we let go. "I actually got a little bit of a surprise for you." he says laughing.

"Jerome come on."

We walk back out to the waiting room to see Rob, Preston and Mat standing there.

We all greet each other. "How did you guys get here so fast?"

"Well, we were coming down anyways to visit you, and it just so happens that Brianna goes into labor. Everyone is flying out though, to see the little Hughes."

I laugh and the doctor walks in, and everyone goes silent.

"It's time."
