Brianna's Flashback (Sophomore year of High School)
"Brianna?" Mitch asked.
"What? Sorry I've just been zoning out all day."
"It's okay, I was waiting for you to put the chemicals in."
I look down and see a few chemicals.
"Oh, right sorry." I said picking up a random one.
"Brianna!" I hear Mitch yell and reach for my arm as I poured the unknown chemical in and watched the chemicals overflow the beaker.
"Shit." I mumbled to myself as our chemistry teacher ran over to us.
Apparently, we made a poison that would kill someone just by smell and taste as well, and that meant we were sent to the office for the rest of the day.
Because that's a rule, to not make a poison that could kill the people in the room.
Which...I wouldn't mind giving that poison to a few people that are complete bitches.
But we ended up at the in school suspension room, how lovely.
"Hey, are you okay?"
I tugged on my sleves. I look at Mitch and sigh.
As much as I tried, I couldn't lie to him.
I shake my head. "No...I'm not..."
He scoots his chair over near me. "What's wrong?"
"I..." I began to say, but sighed. I pulled my sleve up and showed him my wrists.
"Brianna...why?"
"I don't know..."
He grabs my wrists making my sleeves rise up more, showing my fresh bruises.
"Oh my God Bri. Don't tell me these-"
"N-No!" I said panicky. "I mean, I'm clumsy a lot. I mean, I did make a chemical to kill people." I say trying to laugh it off.
"You would tell me if these were from your aunt right?"
"Yes." I said, somehow managing to lie.
"Okay. I trust you."
It would take me a year actually tell Mitch.
Then I saw my aunt barge into the room.
Once she saw Mitch, her whole attitude changed.
"Oh, hello." She smiled at Mitch.
"Hi..." Mitch said awkwardly.
"I'm LeAnn, also Brianna's aunt."
"Mitchell, but I go by Mitch."
"How sweet. Are you two...?"
