Chapter 5 - Affectionate

Hey guys! So this is the chapter dedicated to the winner of the A Thousand Years cover contest! (Edit 5/13/14- The cover is not made by the winner anymore. It was changed.)

Brianna's POV

I wanted to get plenty of sleep so I went to bed pretty early. I woke up from my personal alarm clock and walked into my bathroom.

I looked at myself in the mirror. I looked tired but didn't feel like it. I still felt weird and weak a little bit. I lift up my shirt, to see the scar my aunt had given me was stretched out. I sighed but suddenly smiled at how big my stomach was.

Some women hate when their belly is huge, especially during pregnancy. To me it was amazing, knowing that they were growing and seemed healthy.

I walked out of my room and saw the stuff we ordered for the nursery by the front door.

"Mitch!" I yelled and him, Ryan and Jerome run out the room.

I look at them confusingly. "Guys, I still have a month. I'm not going into labor."

They all look at each other and sigh. I roll my eyes at them. "Well now that you all are here, can you help take these boxes to the nursery?"

"Yeah of course." Jerome says and they all carry the boxes to the nursery.

We painted it yellow, since I didn't want to do a half pink, half blue room.

Us 4 spent a few hours putting together the cribs and other things.

I stand in the room with Mitch. "It finally feels like they will be here so soon." I say and he kisses my head.

We all get ready to livestream for the shirts. "Hey Bri?" Ryan asks.

"Yeah Ryan?"

"You do know that Noah and Palmer flew in last night right?"

I look at Mitch who smiles. "I kinda forgot to tell you."

"Yeah, I see." I said laughing as Noah and Palmer jump out of Jerome's closet.

I scream and jump as the guys laugh.

"I fucking hate you guys! You scare-" I stopped. "You scared them too! They are kicking me like crazy."

The guys laugh as we start the stream. The stream was going good until Mitch was dared to drink a blended cheeseburger.

"Oh my god I am going to actually vomit." Ryan said almost hanging out the window.

He put the cup to his mouth and drank it as Palmer was filming it.

I giggle as Ryan almost throws up. "Its on his lips!" Palmer said and we all die of laughter at the orange substance on his lips.

"Ryan! Just give me a little kiss." Mitch says and he looks at me.

I could see chat exploding with "Brianna kiss Mitch!" I sigh and shrug, I mean how bad could it be?

I walk over to Mitch and press my lips onto his. I could feel his tongue try to pierce my lips. I hesitated but I quickly released, hence the stream was still going.

"Ugh, that tastes horrible!" I said standing up to go wash the taste out of my lips.

We play Minecraft for a little while and then Noah tries to sing.

"Okay Brianna. I heard you have a voice of an angel." Noah says.

"I've been told. I was in Choir for a long time during high school."

"I have never heard you sing once in my life." Mitch says.

"Pretty sure you have but fine, I'll sing one song. What song guys?" I ask the boys.

"A Thousand Years." Noah says.

I look at Mitch who smiles. I smile back and chuckle. "Alright, pull it up Jerome."

I finish the song and the guys begin to clap.

"Fun fact guys, that was Mitch's and I's wedding song." I said

He kisses my cheek and I smile. We continue with the stream and play more games.

We wrap up the stream and call it a night as we all go out for dinner.

Mitch and I walk into our room.

"So you haven't kissed me like that in ages. While we were streaming." I say.

"It's my fault, we haven't been affectionate to each other since the pregnancy. I feel like it is mostly my fault. And today I just felt like...I should start to be more I guess."

"I think once I'm done being pregnant, everything will be back to normal. I hope and I think."

He wraps his arms across my stomach. "I hope so too."
