~READER'S POV~
"(Y/N)" I turned to see potato girl. 'What could she want?' I sighed to myself.
"Wanna be my sparing partner?" her pleading eyes bore through my (E/C) ones.
"o-ok" her hand grabbed my wrist and began to drag me out and onto the training grounds. She released her grip and took a few steps away. Potato girl took her position and got in her stance, I did the same and began to circle her. 'She fidgets when she gets nervous' she stood there waiting for me to make my move. 'I should just attack from behind, it will give me more time to move but she might already be thinking that I'm gonna attack from behind' I audibly sighed 'Oh well'. As soon as I was behind her I crouched down and rushed her. I grabbed her legs and flipped her over so she would land on her back. She made a weird screeching sound as she made impact with the ground. I pivoted on my heal and quickly turned around and pinned her down before she could even try to get up and reclaim her position. I grabbed her right wrist, due to the fact that was the one holding the wooden dagger, and held it against her neck.
"WOAH! How did you do that?!?" She stared at me with curious eyes.
"L-Lots of p-practice" I merely mumbled my answer to her. I got off of her and she began to sit up. I sat in front of her and she did the same. She stuck her hand out for me to shake.
"Friends?" She smiled at me, and I happily obliged and put my hand in hers.
"F-Friends!"
