CH 14: Birth Right

I layed in bed, once again I had been woken up by Sasha. My (E/C) orbs stared at the wood that was above me. 'She's gonna kill me... everyone knows how protective she is' I turned to lay on my side. 'Thank you Sasha.. my only friend is gonna be the death of me.' sighing I turned to lay on my back again. 'What does Eren even think about me, he said everyone was a family' I closed my eyes and once again drifted off into sleep.

'(Y/N)' I opened my eyes, and looked around me. My (E/C) orbs scanned the colorful area. 

'My meadow' I whispered to myself. I stood and began walking towards my tree, I sat on my handmade tree swing. I giggled softly as I felt someone push me. I turned around to see my older brother. I smiled at him and jumped off the swing and turned around to hug him. His arms wrapped around my smaller form. I looked up to say something to him, but abruptly stopped as my eyes grew wide with horror. His body became cold and heavy against mine. I quickly let go off his body and stepped back as I watched him fall to the ground dead and lifeless.

A scream ripped through the air of the cabin as most of the girls quickly sat up and looked around the room. You looked towards Sasha as she stared back at you. Worry clearly written across her face. Your (E/C) orbs glistened with fresh tears as you quickly climbed out of bed and rushed over to Sasha. She wrapped her arms around your form and pet your head trying to calm you down. Everyone began to climb out of their bunks and get ready for the day. Sasha pat your back and told you to get ready, I merely shook my head saying a quick ok and walked over to my bed and began to change. I sat on my bed and began to pull up my boots. Mikasa stood in front of me. I looked up at her as she stared down at me. She pat my head and sat down beside me. She stared at Sasha and waited for her. She stood and I did the same. We all walked out of the cabin and towards the Mess Hall. I stared at her as she walked beside me. 'Is she plotting my death?' I thought to myself. We all walked up the steps to the Mess Hall and walked through the doors and got our food. Sasha lead us to my table and sat down, I sat in front of her and my bunk mate sat beside me. I slowly began to eat my bread until two more girls came and sat with us. one sat beside  me and another sat beside Sasha. Sasha greeted them then introduced us all. 'Ymir and Christa... then Mikasa' I looked over at Mikasa and then the other two. 'This is strange' Looked up and noticed Eren and Armin walking towards us. Eren sat beside Sasha and Armin sat beside Mikasa. They began to eat. I looked up at Sasha then down at my porridge.

"Sasha?" she looked up at me, well everyone looked at me. She hummed a what waiting for me to continue.

"D-Do you want my porridge?" I asked watching her eyes light up and she began to furiously shake her head up and down. I laughed a little and pushed the bowl towards her and watched her practically in hail the food I had given her. I looked behind her and saw three more people walking towards us. 'Horse Face, Connie, and some dude with freckles.' They all sat beside Krista and Ymir. 'More people'. I began to eat my food.

"So (Y/N) what scared you earlier?" I looked at Sasha. 

"O-Oh.. I just had a nightmare.." I looked down at my food. Horse face looked over at me, his eyes widening a little as he remembered something. 

"Oi (Y/N)" I looked over at him furrowing my brows.

"Your from Shiganshina right?" everyone at the table stopped eating and stared at me.

"y-yes, why do you ask?" I questioned.

"You were there for the fall right? You saw the Colossal and Armored Titans, are you as crazy as Jeager?" He asked amusement in his eyes. I stared at him as my eyes sharpened into a glare.

"Maybe" I simply answered.

"Oh, so your just as suicidal as him." he laughed as he said this. I stood from my seat and continued to glare at him.

"I wouldn't be as suicidal as him if it wasn't our birth right." and with that I handed Sasha the remainder of my bread and walked out of the Mess Hall.
