CH 17: Training With (Y/N)

Shadis had assigned everyone into partners, mine being Armin. I sighed as I positioned myself in my fighting stance lightly gripping my dagger. Armin stood a short distance away from me. He shook slightly as he stood his ground waiting for me to lunge. I stared at his footing, it was completely wrong 'He could get injured standing in that way' I stared at his fists, his thumb was tucked inside. I let go of the dagger and let it fall as I walked towards him. Armin furrowed his brows in confusion as he watched me approach. 

"Armin you'll hurt yourself standing that way." he stared at be as I bent down and grabbed his right leg, re-positioning it so it was pointed forward instead of to the side. I grabbed his other leg and pushed it back and slightly turned it to the side. My (E/C) gleamed as I hit the back of his knees making him slightly crouch. I looked up at him as I stood, I grabbed his hands as he released his fists. I curled his fingers and layed his thumb on the top of them. 

"You hold your fists like this, if you don't you'll break your thumbs from the force of your punch" He stared at me wide eyed, a light blush covered his cheeks as he made a quick 'o' sound with his mouth. I smiled at him and walked away. My fingers curled around the wooden dager as I took my stance again. I stood for a second before I lunged forward and swung at Armin, he quickly dodging my attack and pivoted on his footing. 'He's good at avoiding direct hits' I quickly turned to face him and ran at him again, only this time I slid under him and gripped his ankles. He fell as I let go of his ankles, I stood and pinned him down under me. I held the dager and pushed it up against his neck. His eyes widened as he stared at me. I stood up and reached my hand out to him, he took it and I pulled him up.

"Y-Your a really g-good." He squeaked as he stared at his feet. I patted his head and smiled.

"Thank You" I looked down at my feet then back at him.

"TRAINING IS OVER, EVERYONE HAS FREE TIME TODAY" Shadis screeched, I nearly jumped once he started. I turned to look at him as he left. 'I can read' I turned back to Armin and grabbed his hand. He looked startled for a moment then relaxed. I dragged him towards Eren and Mikasa, I dropped Armin's hand and replaced it with Eren's. 

"Let's go look at my book"
