they plan on
going to
canada,
in a small town
preferably,
so that they
won't be found.

on their backs,
they only have
their most
beloved belongings.

they're not sure
if they have
enough money
to sleep anywhere,
besides the car.
and they're sure
their faces will
appear on the
news' amber alert,
when they don't
make it home
the following week.

and so what.

that is what
t h e y
deserve.

for mistreating tara
and
for not letting ej
be himself.
he will only miss
his mother and
his sisters,
even though
they have been
annoying,
always eavesdropping
on his door,
spoiling his music
to their parents.
but he will miss them.
only them.

tara will miss
her mother.

everybody loves
emily uley.
but nobody
knows what
is she going
through.
how sam
treats her.
how her own
son treats her.

ej and tara
have a plan -
to fake their
deaths.
this way,
no amber alerts
anywhere.
and they will
be safer.

but they might
need some
external help
in this.
