It has been sort of weird living as a vampire. I have become accustomed to food tasting boring but I still liked it and I have to keep up the act of being human. Today was Saturday and they were releasing me from the hospital. Jacob asked me to meet him at the reserve but I knew that I was no longer welcomed on Quileute territory, so I declined. Instead I apologized to dad and went to the Cullen's house. When I got there Edward and Emmett were waiting for me to go hunting with them. They took me into the woods and showed me how to hunt and I perfected the art right away, making no mess. When we got back I figured out what my power was, I had power mimicry. I told the Cullen's and they thought it was cool, so now I could read minds, feel and control emotions, and I could see the future. Currently Alice, Esme, Claude, and Rosalie were in the living room and Edward, Emmett, Carlisle, Jasper, and I were in Carlisle's study. We were just looking for information on power mimicry. I looked up at the clock and saw it was noon. I excused myself and left the house. At 12:30 I was going to have dinner with my dad. When I got there Bella was going to be leaving soon.
"Where are you going?"
"La Push, I guess, it's on the Quileute Reservation."
"Can I join?" I know I am not allowed there but they do not know I am a vamp so what they do not know cannot hurt them.
"Uh, yeah, sure."

I went upstairs and grabbed my surfing gear. Quickly I changed into my bikini and put clothes over it. Then I French braided my hair. Bella called me saying they were here so I ran down with my stuff in a bag holding my board. I put my stuff in the back of one of the vans and got in the other. Everyone greeted me warmly even though I could feel the confusion radiating off them. When we arrive at La Push I strip of my clothes and pulled on my wetsuit. Not before everyone stared at my tattoos.
"Peace, catch a wave." I called as I ran off.
"'Catch a wave' what is she on?"
"If I knew I'd tell you guys." Bella stated in all her awkwardness.
Despite the water being absolutely freezing I felt fine. Actually I felt hot. Like way too hot. I thought that after becoming a vampire I would be pale and all my medical things would be corrected. Why am I still tan? Why do I have a fever? Why is everything suddenly pissing me off? When I saw a big enough wave I rode it back to shore then ran to the car without anyone seeing me. I stripped of my wetsuit and put on my clothes. Then I left my board and everything else when I ran for Billy's place. When I got there I pounded on the door and he opened it. He saw the state I was in and quickly ushered me to his room. He left and I heard him make a call but I do not know who. Not too long later in waltzed a man I did not know with Billy in tow.
