The doctor came in to examine me like he did the other day.
After a few tests, he told me that I could be discharged "I did a few tests and you are fine to go, just make sure you take it easy and don't try to do too much got to do with your body, you just need a bit more rest and after a few days you will recover. I am going to call you mother to come and collect you."
"Oh, I don't think my mother will want to come out of work and collect me." I said. Knowing my mother, she would not want to come out of work just for me.
"Well we will see about that." he said. I didn't answer and I let him walk out.
I just looked around the room not really wanting to leave. I liked it here where I can hear people talking and their footsteps, I know I am alone in a room but at least I know I am not alone in a building and the sounds of voices and footsteps remind me that I am not alone.
My mother soon came in surprisingly to bring me home. But before I went home, she wanted me to eat the food that she brought for me.
I thanked her and had a mouthful of the food. It was delicious. I looked up at her and offered some to her. She said she didn't want any so I kept enjoying it with her company.
"Do you like it?" she asked me.
"Ya, it's so nice, thank you." I said.
She chuckled. "You already thanked me." she said with a warm smile. Once again I felt love from my mother.
"Well, I needed to thank you again, it is very nice." I said as I ate more food. I didn't really want to tell her that I thanked her so much because she didn't buy me food much, I always had to cook myself.
"OK then. I'm glad you like it." she said. I finished my meal and thanked her again.
She insisted on me having a shower before we go and she took out my clothes that she seemed to have brought from home.
I went into the bathroom connected to my room. I had a cold shower since there was no water heater, but it was nice since I didn't have a shower in a few days.
I put on the clothes my mother had brought for me and then we left the hospital. She drove me home in her car.
I wasn't used to being in her car at all. I haven't even been in it before, this was my first time, even though she had her car for 3 years already.
We finally got home. I went to my room and just laid on my bed. I slowly drifted away.
When I woke up, my mother wasn't home. I just took out my text books and went through some chapters that I had probably missed during the time I wasn't in school.
I know if I didn't go throught what I have missed I will get lower grades in my next exam, and that won't be good because my grade is already the last in the class.
I know if I got worse than I would have gotten my classmates (I am not calling them friends) will treat me worse than they already am treating me, just because they think that they are better than me and that they have a right to bully me because they are better than me. That would be bad because they already treat me very badly.
I know that my teacher will be very angry with me and will wack me with a cane since I will be the worst student by far if I don't go throught what I have missed.
So ya, I had to go through what I have missed.
So Claire got out of the hospital, her mother came out from work just to collect her, she even brought some food and clothes for her.
Giving some time to someone is also a way of showing that you care.
