percy.

percy
"and this is where we have our feasts." percy and i entered the dining pavilion. which had long tables and a fire in the centre. "whatever cabin you are in, you must sit at your assigned table. like i'm a son of poseidon so that means that i can only sit at my table and not at any other table, you know?"
i nodded, "so like children of athena can only sit at their table?"
he smiled, "yeah that's right. you're getting the hang of this, new girl."
i ignored him as he went on with the tour and stared out at the long island sound when we neared the beach. i felt a strange longing to be in the water but i ignored it when percy handed me a sword. it was a three foot steel sword that looked terribly unbalanced.
"you want to spar with me?" i smirked, feeling a little giddy to fight with someone. i took the sword, examining it as he got on some armour.
"i want to see what you can do, don't know what they teach in england but i still need to test you." he passed me a chest plate, "here wear this."
i smiled innocently at him, "i provide for my own." slowly, my raven armour started to materialize on me, all stitched and ready to be beaten up again. i fiddled with the ring on my finger and it transformed into my beautiful long celestial bronze sword. the green emerald, signalling my house, shone brightly in the sun.
he stared at me with his mouth gaped wide open, "u-uhh uh uh, o-okay. wow thats amazing." he stammered, looking a little nervous to pick a fight with me now.
"wow. look at that sword." someone whispered from the crowd that started to appear beside us and that just made percy more nervous.
"relax dude, i'll go easy on you." i gave him a reassuring nod and he visibly relaxed.
we both got into our fighting stance until he made the first move.
i parried, blocking his attack and slashing back at him. if it weren't for his adhd, he wouldn've been decapitated after just three seconds.he counteracted, lunging and slicing my hand when i brought it up to block my face. out of frustration, my bow and quiver started to glimmer, threatening to reveal itself but i kept calm and brought my leg up and round house kicked his face. the air burned, i could feel the sweat run down my face, the weather was certainly more intense over here than in england.
percy groaned in pain, looking a little stunned at me but kept pressing on me, he brought his sword up and slashed my thigh. i dropped down on my knees in pain and percy saw his chance, snatching my sword out of my hands. he had his pointed to my chest and had this knowing smile like, nice try.
but i wasn't done.
"come one man, i just got this damn thing fixed." i whined and summersaulted back, grasping at the two dagger i always had strapped to my back. i also stumvled into the lake and immediately i felt a strange sense of power surge through me. percy looked shocked at my dagger hut nevertheless, followed me into the water and he also seemed to gain power.
he brought me to my senses and started attacking, lunging and slashing without stopping. i blocked, and lunged and got a few cuts in as well but i was getting bored so with one final kick, i knocked percys sword out of his hand, grabbed him by the neck and flipped over him, having both my daggers at his neck.
"you thought." i chuckled in his ear and let him go into the water.
he splashed for bit then got back up and faced me, "good fight caliber. didn't know you had it in you."
i nodded, my armour started to materialize away.
i opened my mouth to make a sarcastic remark when the crowd watching us erupted in applause and came to me.
"caliber you fight so well! where do you learn your moves?" annabeth grabbed me by my shoulders
"and your sword was awesome!" someone else said.
"wow percy, someone finally beat you."
"shut up connor."
