     Storm's POV

I went up the stairs towards the old flat where the beta would live. My dad and his mate were not back yet and for a little bit it would just be Evie and I. I opened the door and was hugged by two girls. One older, one younger. My sisters Cassie and Maddie, 32 and 16. "Oof! Hi!!" I said. Evie was hugged by her aunts as well. We walked into the flat and I gravitated towards my old room.

It looked just like it had when I had left. The Queen size bed was made of mahogany and had a blue bedspread and a gold and blue comforter and pillows. It gave the room a nautical theme. The walls were blue with a few golden ships here and there. The carpet was blue with a small smattering of gold near the door, like the beach.

"Mamá. ¿Es éste su antigua habitación?" (Mamá. Is this your old room?) Evie asked.

"Sí." (Yes) I replied. Evie ran right to the bed and climbed up on it. I could tell she wanted to sleep here and I was glad she was happy. Someone cleared their throat near the doorway and I turned. Jeremiah was leaning against the door frame.

"Hate to break up the little family reunion here, but can I borrow Storm? To talk?" He asked.

I frowned at him and turned my back to him. Evie looked at him nervously.          "Mamá. Ese hombre extraño es aquí de nuevo. Y él me está mirando!" (Mamá. That strange man is here again. And he's looking at me!) Evie cried out and I ran to console her.

"Está bien, querido. Mamá te protegerá. Tía Cassie y la tía Maddie también lo hará." (It's alright, dear one. Mamá will protect you. Auntie Cassie and Auntie Maddie will too.) I replied. I sent Evie towards her aunts and walked towards Jeremiah.

We stepped out into the hall and it became awkward. I spoke first, switching back to English. "What do you want?" I asked. He looked at me lovingly and I curled my lip in disgust.

"You. You, Storm," he replied. I took a step back, he took one forward.

"Tough luck, buttercup. You can't take back what you never wanted," I said. I could sense his anger boiling up.

"You will not talk to me like that, little mate. You will be mine after I kill the pup in there. Another man's pup." Now I was angry.

"Usted no va a ponerle la mano encima a mi hija inocente, repugnante hombre! Ella no hizo nada y ya que trataría de matarla? No has cambiado ni un poco!" I screamed in his face in Spanish. He didn't know what I was saying and I got some satisfaction out of that.

"What the hell does that mean?" He shouted at me. I let my eyes go cold. I took a breath.

"It means that YOU WILL NEVER LAY A HAND ON MY INNOCENT DAUGHTER, YOU DISGUSTING MAN!! SHE DID NOTHING AND YOU WOULD ALREADY TRY TO KILL HER? YOU HAVEN'T CHANGED ONE BIT!!" I shouted in English.

I went back into my bedroom and slammed the door in his face. Evie looked at me, shocked. I never usually talked to anybody like that. She was the only person in the room who had understood what I had said in Spanish.

"Mamá. Was he mean to you?" she asked. I hugged her.

"No sweetie. It was fine," I replied. Maddie raised her eyebrows at me, clearly not believing me. The front door to the flat opened and my dad and step mom came in.

"Storm! What was that all about? Your father and I could hear the shouting downstairs." She asked. I really did like her. She treated all of us as her own and was kind.

"Jeremiah." I replied. She nodded. We had a short talk and there was another knock on the door. I sniffed, not smelling Jeremiah's scent. I opened it.

"Yes? Oh!" I said to the person on the other end. It was someone I hadn't seen for 16 of my 26 years of life. My unfaithful Mother, Dana Walker.

Well this just kept getting better and better.
