Storm's POV
I saw the holes in the incubator, circulating fresh air. I put my pinkie through one and touched baby Brandy's hand. It closed around my finger and I smiled. My peaceful moment didn't last long. I heard a thud and rushed back into the hospital room, Casey stayed with the baby.
Lydia looked tiredly at the ceiling and I could see Jeremiah's eyes starting to turn red. I had a feeling there was no going back this time around, this man was insane. Sure enough, a wild snarl emitted from his lips. He crossed the room towards Lydia, I ran and jumped in front of her. He grabbed my wrist, twisted and snapped it. I hissed in pain and swung at him with my good hand.
I missed and Jeremiah tossed me aside like a rag doll. My head hit the beside cabinet and I saw stars. I refused to pass out and sat helplessly, waiting for my wrist to heal. Alex jumped in front of Lydia and socked Jeremiah in the gut. It didn't faze him as he brought both his fists to Alex's temples, dropping him to the ground. I prayed he wasn't dead.
"Casey!! Help!" I yelled. She ran in and I watched her elbow Jeremiah's neck. He struck out and got her neck. She doubled over, gasping for breath. Lydia threw her hands up in front of her face. Jeremiah began beating her again. A few tears escaped my eyes as I heard Lydia's screams. My wrist healed finally and I got up. Jeremiah heard my steps on the floor and punched me right in the nose. I went cross eyed, trying to see the damage.
Lydia continued to scream as Jeremiah hit her. After awhile, they stopped. Jeremiah finally left the room and passed out onto the hallway floor. I ran to Lydia, ignoring my deformed nose. I felt at her wrist for a pulse. None. I checked her neck. No pulse. I held my fingers in front of her nostrils to check for air. No air. I checked a machine she was hooked up to. Her heartbeat was 0. Lydia Kingsley was dead.
I dropped to the floor, crying. I had been crying for awhile when the door opened. "Auntie Storm, where's my mommy?" Her son, whose name I found out, asked. I blocked the view of her dead body. "Your mommy is...Well..." I broke off, unable to explain. Donovan looked at me with tears in his eyes. "Is she dead?" he asked. I engulfed him in a hug as he cried. "Yes, sweetie. She is." I replied.
I heard a groan on the floor and I looked. Alex was stirring. I sighed with relief. "Donovan, earlier tonight your mommy had a baby. Wanna see your baby sister?" I asked. He nodded yes and I took his hand, leading him to the room. He gasped at the sight. "Her name is Brandy Lisa Kingsley." I said. Donovan looked at me funny. I picked him up and we walked out to a conscious Alex.
"Donovan, we're going back to your room to pack up your stuff. Your mommy made Auntie Storm and Uncle Alex your guardians if anything happened to her. Same goes for baby Brandy." He ran to his room. One thought entered my mind. We were going to have to kill Jeremiah, to make sure he wouldn't do this to anyone else.

I feel kinda bad for killing off Lydia. But it's official now. Jeremiah is a Murder and a Psychopath. I'll update later today.
