I have my place of rest in you
In your arms I am safe
My love is etched on your face
In that special smile you hold for me
The sound of your laughter
Warms me with the tenderness of your love.
My love, you draw me into a world
That I never dared to enter
A world where only you and I live,
Where we are free of everything but our love.
I never dreamed it would entice me
So completely, so wonderfully.
When you take me by the hand
And lead me there,
I will follow blindly in sweet oblivion
Knowing that you are my guide
In you my trust is complete.
I long to spend all my days
With the pounding if our hearts
Resounding to the same beat
The beat of our love.
