Say it with the smile
I spied as our eyes met
First time across the distance
Bridged by the surety of love
That wonder at shared understanding.Touch me with that hesitant fascination
That revered with knowledge
Of sublime feeling reciprocated
A breath of skin caressing
In that immortalized moment.Kiss me with that initial zeal
That tenderness since lost
As time eroded the awe
Long since established in amazement
Of that very first kiss.Say if as if you'll come back but in an hour hence
Like its not the last time I shall behold
That countenance so beloved
As that hard truth will shatter all I am
And a rivef will soon flow from me endlessly.
