First Day

Also, bear with me as this is my first story

Mera
I lay in my bed
I woke up about an hour ago but stayed in bed
I didn't want to go to this new school
I moved every year. But she told me we wouldn't move this time, when I finally opened up to her and told her that it was hard to make friends when I move all the time.
I actually made friends at that school
I love them with all my heart
We were and are gonna move in together
We were in a band
But 6 months later I move
That's the shortest time I been to a school
The last time a stayed in a school or two grade levels was when I was 6

Flashback

I laughed my ugly laugh,
I laughed so hard at the corny joke Aryah made,
Nobody was laughing but me and her,
I laughed so hard that I snorted and Kat and Bree started to laugh too,
We ate lunch and headed to the courtyard so that we could get started on what song we were going to practice.

Dancing to Distortion was the name,
Bree came up with it.
When we first started out as a band
We didn't really know each other,
I just heard Bree singing and asked her to be in the band then we met Kat, who was already Bree's friend
I thought she was cool,
She had died hair pink purple and blue and it blended togther beautifully. She was taller than the rest of us but I didn't mind, I was always short.
The shortest in the band
She was so talented.

Then I met Aryah,
I didn't like her when I first came to the school because she was loud, but then again so was I... I started to get to know her and she was me in a different body,
She started to hang out with us a lot,
Not caring a whole lot I decided she was in the band
Not asking her or anything...
She just went with it
Turns out she had a great voice
She had super long fingers, and arms, and legs
So she was tall as well
But because of that she was out bassist
I was the drummer.

When I first started the band my twin sister, Gabby, told me to be a drummer
She was pretty convincing so I agreed.
We were working on a song cover.

"You guys are morons" I said as I grabbed and ate the chicken nugget out of my pocket
"Ew where the hell did you get that?" Bree said with a disgusted face
The face she made was so funny I snorted
Snorting was a usual thing I did when I laughed but still.
"I snuck it in my pocket before we left the lunch room" I shrugged
"You guys were gonna leave me and I wasn't done so I stuffed chicken nuggets in my pocket" I said as I grabbed another chicken nugget out of my pocket
"Can I have one?" Aryah asked
I looked at her with puppy dog eyes basically asking her not to ask because I didn't want to share
She pouted and stuck out her trembling lip,
My puppy dog eyes obviously didn't work.
I rolled my eyes and gave her the one in my hand
"Yay!" Aryah said like a little child as she took as bite of the nugget
Me Bree and Kat stared at Aryah while she ate the chicken nugget
"What?" She yelled playfully "Why does everybody watch me eat?" Kat laughed "It's interesting" "Why does everyone tell me that? I don't understand why it is" Aryah complained
We all laughed and as soon as it got quiet Kat spoke up.
"Can I have a chicken nugget too?"
Wide eyes I handed her one
Playfully looking annoyed
"Thanks babes"
I squinted my eyes at her
" Your welcome" I said slowly.
I looked at Bree, "Do you want one?"
"Nah that's gross" Bree said not looking up at me from the sheet of lyrics Kat handed her
(We live in America so people used slang
I didn't use any of the new slang, I hated it, but it was funny when it came out of the other band members mouth)
"If you say so" I said shoving a whole chicken nugget into my mouth
Kat snorted at that
And because of that I laughed hard with my mouth full and chocked (On food)
Aryah started laughing so hard she looked like a seal
She wasn't making noise or anything
Just sitting there with her eyes closed slapping her knee.
"Aryah calm down"I said as I swallowed the chicken nugget
"Let's get to work guys" I said smiling
It was Kats turn to pick a song and she picked a song called Miss Jackson by Panic! At the Disco,
Bree did her three second count to get ready
And started her part...
