Amari's pov~
I walked through the woods on a chill autumn day making my way back home. There was a slight breeze that blew leaves off their trees and the ones on the ground into the air, then floating back down landing on a new spot. I had just finished shopping from the near by village named Miyama, that was only 3 miles away from my home.
As I continued to make my way home, I smiled at the fact that I was living my childhood dream. I had always wanted to live in a house that was located within walking distance of a village and in the woods. It had taken me some time to find the perfect spot to have my home built, but once I found it I immediately bought the land and started having my home built.
I even get to enjoy the beautiful scenery during my trips to and from the village. I have yet to discover the hidden gems of the woods that surround me though. I readjusted my hold on my bags of groceries, feeling some of them start to dig into my skin. My arms started to get that heavy feeling.
I picked up my pace taking a short cut through a clearing of unbothered grass that moved with the wind. As I made my way through the grass I noticed some object in a clearing. As I got closer I realized that lying in the clearing in front of me was a man.
The closer I got to the man the more I realized that the male was a humal. This guy specifically had wolf ears and a tail. Aside from him being unconscious there was also signs of him being severely injured.
The injuries could be seen through the holes and rips of the black cloak he was wearing. I had heard there were people being born with animal like features. I had never personally seen one up close before. Let alone one who had a ninja headband tightly gripped in his right hand.
Quickly putting my bags of food and other items down I touched a spot on his neck to check his pulse. His pulse was weak but he was still alive. I summoned 4 shadow clones who I asked to pick the man up gently. Moving as fast as we could, we rushed to my house. Making it to my house as 10 minutes later we rushed up the stairs to my front door that I unlocked with ease.
Once I was inside I had my clones put the man on my couch. Setting my bags on my kitchen table I went to grab my med kit, thanking my clones for their help before they disappeared. Moving his cloak out of my way, I opened my med kit and grabbed some scissors so that I could cut open his rob so I could access his wounds a lot easier. As I was about to cut the fabric, a hand grabbed mine harshly stopping my movements.
"Wh—?"
"Shh, don't talk. I'm trying to help you. You passed out in a clearing due to your injuries." I said.
The guy and I continued looking at each other for a few minutes before he let go of my hand. I took that as an okay and quickly cut open enough of his rob to get to his wound.
With that I got to work.
--3 hours later--
Sasuke's pov-
My eyes popped open abruptly. I tried to sit up, but the pain I was feeling wouldn't let that happen. So I looked at what I could in my current position. Many thoughts ran through my mind, but I was mainly curious about the women who had bandaged up my wounds. As I continued to lay there deep in thought, a sharp paint run through my body causing me to let out a huff.
"Oh you're awake," a soothing voice muttered "I was worried you wouldn't wake up. I do advise that you don't move so much. You might reopen your wound."
"Who are you? How long have I been out? Where am I?" I asked.
"You are in my cabin. You are lucky I found you when I did, I don't believe you would have made it any longer. And you have been sleeping for 4 days now, today marks day 5." She said looking at me.
I stared back at her curious as to why she chose to help me. Not too many humans were nice to those of us who have animal ears and tails. It didn't help that I was ambushed by someone I have yet to identify. Then I am rescued by a stranger and not just any stranger it had to be a female.
"My name is Inaho by the way. Inaho Amari." Amari said interrupting my thoughts.
"....Uchiha. Uchiha Sasuke..." I replied after a long pause.
Amari set down a bowl that seemed to have been filled with something along with a towel. I assumed it was filled with water. She then walked over to me and kneeled down, as she looked me over. I watched her every move closely incase I had to be ready to fight. She unwrapped my would and cleaned it. I let out a grunt as she whatever she used to clean my wound stung. Amari then took the towel and wiped other areas of my body. Then she rewrapped my wound once again.
"Well I see you aren't that much of a talker, so I'll just let you rest. After today you should be feeling well enough to get back to wherever you were going. If you need anything I'll be in the other room." Amari said.
She made sure to fix my clothing, then picked up the items she had brought in. Once she made sure I was alright, Amari made her way out of the living room.
"Amari...."
"Yeah?"
"Thanks."
I managed to say. She nodded, before turning the corner and was out of sight. I took a deep breath before going to fix my injuries with a special jutsu I had learned from Orochimaru. By this time tomorrow I would be healthy enough to leave this place.
