Chapter Seven: Sure

I hadn't have a peaceful slumber last night because of my worries. Worries that maybe, my two enemies will emerging a force to get rid of me. I feel something wrong is going on... something very, very odd. I don't want to think any way around, I will just think on how can I stop them on whatever their plan is. I roused from my peaceful resting when my alarm clock rang. I was so enthusiast because of my plan. If they wanted a game, then I will give them a game.

I stood up and went to the cabinet when I had kept the notebook— the notebook that I had seen in the school that having a wonderful words. A love is a game played by a Player and a Gamer. Spellbound, I opened the notebook again and scanned if there was another words that I can put on my vocabulary. But I felt disappointed when I saw nothing but a four letters. I squinted when I saw what are those words: DASA.

"DASA?" I asked full of bewilderment.

Is this a initials? Her perspective on love is kind of odd. How come that Love is a sort of game? If you'd fall first, probably you're the loser? And how come can I use it with Alexander? The side of my lips rose for a smirk. I think I know what will I do.

I went to my bathroom and took my shower with a devilish smile. If they planed a game, then give them what they want. Play with them! I don't know what came to my mind to think that they had planned something against my back. But my suspicions don't fail me. I was always correct.

"Oh, maayos ata gising mo ngayon, a?" tanong ni Kuya.

"Oo naman." I slumped in my usual seat, and took a piece of hotdog and took a bite of it. "Why are you here? 'Di ba may condo ka naman?"

"Aww, Princess, are you shooing me?"

Ngumiwi ako at kinagat ulit ang aking hotdog, "Well, yes?"

His face wrinkled and pouted. I winced and took another bite on my hotdog. My head craned because of the noise of the two person that getting down the stairs. When I looked at them— only my little sister Jade and my Father. I was expecting that my Mother is now walking behind them but I was disappointed when I didn't see any of her behind them two.

Where is my Mother? It's kind of odd that I haven't seen her yet this morning and in the past year records, she was the first person to wake up because she always wants to cook for us and I have heard that the maid— aling Karing the one who cooked the prepared food for us. I know, even they didn't tell me that, I know Mother didn't cook this food, I am very familiar with her dishes and for me it was the most delicious and tasteful food I had ever eaten.

"Where's Mommy, Dy?" I asked my Father.

"Something bad happened to your Granny. She was ran to the hospital because of heart failure. I was about to come with her but she didn't allow me to. Your uncles were busy with their own business out of town." ani Daddy.

The news didn't give any shocking feelings toward me. It's always been like that. Granny is old enough to experience those illnesses. But I still care for her, of course. She's been my buddy since I was a kid. Ounce in a moment before, Mom and Dad needed to go out of town because of their meetings abroad and Granny was the one who took care of me every time my parents had some errands out of town.

My uncles in the de Montesilva; uncle Tristan, uncle Charles, uncle Jake, and uncle Timothy. But eventually they really not so close to us— not that they don't like us but we— siblings don't like to mingle with them. Even kuya Troy doesn't like the idea of getting near of them. They are all casual towards us. And everytime that Granny calls for a Family dinner, all we have to do is to be quiet and only the crickets we'd hear. They were too formal. Didn't they know that acting like that really sucks?
