Remy stood up again, holding her arm as she covered the wound she got. Hal's sword disappeared as well, as he aimed his ring towards Remy, his hands now holding a machine gun. Remy quickly regained the fighting position, her eyes wide on the green gun.

"You have to be ready for anything." He spoke, remembering the words Kilowog told him on day one. Hal started shooting as Remy created a circular shield to cover from the raining fire. She planted her feet into the ground as the force was slowly moved her back. Remy took the chance and threw the shield at Hal to stop the gun - and it did.

She exhaled in relief but didn't have time to react before a hook came towards her. Remy created a bubble around herself, blocking the incoming threat and shattering the hook. A smile formed before the circle dissipated and she hit the ground under her, causing it to crack and the shot under it reach her target - Hal. Hal stood up quickly, taking flight upwards and avoiding the attack.

Without even thinking about it, Hal quickly sent a huge green fist towards the woman. Remy saw this and quickly put both her arms to defend herself - but Hal's will was more than her's and it pushed her a few yards back. Breathless, Remy dropped her arms as she quickly formed a sniper in her hands.

The dark haired woman inhaled sharply as she aimed down the green crosshairs and aimed for Hal's head. She held her breath as she pulled the construct's trigger, sending the bullet towards Hal.

Hal saw the green bullet flying towards him and quickly pointed his ring outwards and built a brick wall a few inches away from his body - breaking the entire bullet. Once the wall fell down, Hal stared at Remy, a unimpressed look on his face. "Not cool."

"Nice." Kilowog spoke as Remy walked towards him, fisting bumping as Hal landed near the two with a mad expression.

"I'm the one who taught you that!"

"Where is Remy?" Ashton asked, the tips of his mouth turning downwards. He expected her of all people to be here when him and Ricky get discharged from the hospital, but the third sibling was nowhere in sight. But their father was. Ellis drove the two to their apartment, saying he has business to deal with and will be back soon - his usual excuse.

Ashton led Ricky up the stairs of the apartment, opening the door to see that his apartment was different. There was a banner that said 'Get Well Soon!' in bright colors and big letters. There were also a lot of people - friends and Remy - who stood in the middle of the apartment.

"Ash! Rick!" Remy ran over to the door, grabbing her siblings and pulling them into a massive hug, but she couldn't squeeze too hard because of their injuries. A smile broke out on her face as she let them go.

"I called it. I knew some shady shit was going down when you weren't at the hospital." Ricky said, smirking alongside her sister as Remy led her siblings to the big group of friends to greet them and wish them recovery until Remy saw a too familiar face.

Remy starting walking over to Hal until Ashton did the same but reached Hal before her. Remy held a confused look before her brother said, "Hal, this is Remy, my sister."

"Your friends with this douche, Ash?"

"This is your sister?" The two asked the cop as he furrowed his eyebrows. Ashton chuckled, watching as their expressions change to confusion.

"I'm guessing you two know each other. Anyway, Hal works for Ferris Air, a co-company with the department." Ashton explained further, gesturing to Hal as he wore a smirk. Remy crossed her arms nodding as she understood.

Remy looked over to Hal, motioning for him to follow her into the other side of the room. Remy said her farewells and left Hal and Ashton alone for a while. Once Remy reached the other side of the living room, she turned her back towards the crowd and pulled out her green lantern ring. The ring started to glow a faint hue of green.
